WFC Season 30 Announcement! - Bayley - 08-06-2021

Good afternoon ISFL! I hope everyone is fantastic this evening. I wanted to come with a couple announcements. First, awesome job on the logos that everyone has produced, I have really loved to see those. If you want to submit logos, please check out the Competitions as they are posted there.

Secondly, I wanted to provide everyone with the WFC DISCORD!!
WFC Discord

It'll have locker rooms setup so you can talk to your new teammates every offseason. I think it's a unique opportunity! You can request roles on that discord as well.

Thirdly, how about a schedule?

World Football Championship Schedule
Friday, August 13th - Deadline for Free Transfers
Monday,  August 16th -  Eligibility List Available to WFC Heads
Thursday,  August 19th -  Deadline for Team Submissions
Saturday,  August 21st -  Deadline for Media about team selections (can be any time from when Elgibility is released)
Saturday,  August 21st -  Preseason for WFC
Tuesday,  August 24th -  Weeks 1 & 2
Thursday,  August 26th -  Week 3 & 4
Saturday,  August 28th -  Week 5 & 6
Monday,  August 30th -  Week 7 & 8
Wednesday,  September 1st -  Week 9 & 10
Friday,  September 3rd -  Week 11 & 12 (6PM EST STREAM)
Sunday,  September 5th -  Week 13 & 14
Tuesday,  September 7th -  Week 15 & 16  (6PM EST STREAM)
Thursday,  September 9th Playoffs -  (4 team playoff)
Saturday,  September 11th -  Gold / Bronze Medal Games
7pm game airs

You'll notice some different things from our schedule. First, everything will air at 7 PM EST rather than 8 PM EST with the exception of 2 which will start at 6PM EST. . There will also be weekend streams, so we can all enjoy ISFL all the time. Who needs days off?

Well, I hope everyone is excited for the first season. Also, will everyone check the Eligibility List within the WFC Forum to make sure they are in the right country.

Gosh that streamer must be amazing to do 90min streams this often, including weekends...

Also did someone say....Powerpoint graphics??

but really, Everyone please make sure to thank Bayley for spearheading this entire concept into existence, can't wait for this to be a smash hit every season to make off-season amazing!

@TheCHEESE Go to the WFC thread within the forum. Go to Eligibility list. Search for your player. Its easier if you remember where your birth place was and you can then attempt to figure out the region you would be on. Example: NYC = Atlantic-Midwest. Tallahasee = Southeast. Los Angeles = Southwest. Middle of Nowhere = World. Or you can just look down the players names category or forum name category until you locate youself.

Thanks @Bayley for this incredibly awesome idea youve come up with. Im sure Im speaking for us all when I say this is a really phenomal idea! Im just happy to be a part of all the fun.
