*Beeg Beeg Yoshi Meets the Media! - yosh - 08-12-2021
Beeg Beeg Yoshi is on his way to play some professional football with his International Simulation Football League friends!
Before he can do that, however, he must face the music that is the media, in his first ever press conference!
Beat Reporter: “Yoshi, is your first name Beeg or Beeg Beeg?”
Beeg Yosh: “YOSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII”
Translator: “That’s the sound he makes! But no, Yosh says that his first name is Beeg, surname is Beeg Yoshi.”
Beeg Yosh: “Beeg Beeg Yoshi”
Translator: “Yup, that’s your name, Yosh!”
Other Beat Reporter: “Yoshi, what can you bring to a team that will draft you?”
Beeg Yosh: “Yoshiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii”
Translator: “Yosh says that he can bring some really great beeg vibes and fun times to the locker room. He’s a… very beeg guy, as you can see.”
The camera pans out, and we can see that Beeg Yoshi’s head is almost touching the ceiling of the conference room! Now that’s a BEEEEEEEEEEEEG YOSHI!
Yet another beat reporter: “Yosh, how do you feel about your skills on the field itself? Do you think you can be a good offensive linebacker in the International Sim Football League?”
Beeg Yosh: “Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeg Beeg Yoshii”
Translator: “Well, Yosh believes that his size is a huge part of his game and should help him out a lot as an offensive linebacker. On top of this, he has experience with other sports like hockey and baseball, but he thinks that his calling card could be football because of his size.”
This time, just a regular reporter: “Yosh, what’s on the entertainment schedule tonight?”
Beeg Yosh: “Yoshi?”
Translator: “He uh, doesn’t know.”
Reporter #2: Electric Boogaloo: “Yosh, it says here that you went to Squidward Community College to play college football. Could you tell us a bit more about that experience, and what it was like having a squid as a head coach?”
Beeg Yosh: “Yoshiii.”
Translator: “Well, first things first, the head coach was an octopus, and not a squid, despite what the name would suggest. But no, Yosh says his experience at Squidward Community College was excellent, and that the coaches did a great job preparing the team for football success. Ignore the fact that the team didn’t win a single game all year though.”
A third reporter: “Hey there Beeg Beeg Yoshi, what are your plans to improve and prepare yourself in order to face the more intimidating strength of competition in the ISFL and DSFL?”
Beeg Yosh: Silence, followed by an answer. “Yoshi.”
Translator: “He plans on getting even more beeg, getting stronger, maybe even faster. Yosh knows he can do well as a linesman, and has all the faith in himself to succeed at the ISFL level.”
Zoom Meeting Host: “Alright, are there any more questions for Mr. Beeg Yoshi?”
Silence
Zoom Meeting Host: “Oooooooooookay, well that is it. Beeg Yoshi, do you have any closing remarks?”
Beeg Yoshi: “Beeg. Yoshi.”
Translator: “That’s… that’s exactly what he said. Beeg Yoshi. He’s telling everyone to remember his name, because he hopes he can be a real good player.”
