Oh the places you’ll go or something like that is what my mother or some childrens book used to tell me.
Yeah yeah playoffs haven't even started but oh well, Here are the places ranked right now of where I would like to spend my first couple ISFL seasons.
To start this is the top tier, the tier who has scouted me. I enjoy proactive GM’s and solid conversations so congrats!
The teams that have scouted me as of writing are. NYV, SJS, BER, Yellowknife, ARI, PHIL
RANKINGS:
Arizona so far is number 1. Crunk (one of the GM’s) came to scout me so that is a positive, we had a great conversation, talked about having secondary leagues and people not knowing who we were and the experience that can be. His scouting convo was different. Honestly looking back we didnt talk about the team much. But that was fine, he and I had a good friend style convo. Oh also, he gave me a hand navigating the forum once. Which was nice. It of course helps that atm Arizona is really good and has LSU, Hoppy, Zeagle, Bosox, and Golliday. All guys I really like. As well as plenty of new people for me to meet 
Big thing to me with Arizona didnt even ask about position switching, said he wouldnt even try that with me (prolly due to me being a minors GM in PBE I know all about that shite). Arizona would be my most preferred landing spot rn… with 1 exception
NYS i havent had the full convo with I just got the Q’s that were very generic. For example, “Will you sacrifice your stats for team success.” Im an O-lineman the F*** you think the answer is to that? But where New York slides into #2 and only a slight #2 is based on two people. DogwoodMaple and Machineearnedruns. Dogwood is my sim league brother. We entered PBE like a week apart and are both die hard Hepcats. Hell he ran the Hepcat team twitter while I was CO. Oh and we are in Indy together in PBE. I went to indy because of Dogwood. He’s a busy dude and we dont talk as much as we used to but Dogwood is my fucking guy. Machine, im in his OOTP online league and he also makes the busts for Hepcat Hall of fame. He is a good friend of mine at this point. I know I know, I told the GM’s PBE folks doesnt much matter but dogwood is the total exception. 
I see Pat everywhere I look, reminds me of Netlandic in that sense and believe me that is a good thing. One of the only people to respond to any of my initial media (again the net comp). I also enjoy myself and good rebuild and the team named “trust the process” is up my alley. Early in the career anyway. Some decent guys in the LR and the fact that Pat was the first guy to scout me (one of my hallmarks of a good GM). I do like Philly
Berlin sent co founder and current CO to come scout me. So Obvious points there, I enjoyed my talk with highhaschdi. Also Berlin appears to have drafted quite well which would mean a solid future in addition to the good present. Also the only team to give me and LR invite. While I usually dont accept them for places im not. I make a special exception for being drafted. Being the only one also makes it unique. 
Loyal Hepcat and friend mattypaul is GM. Seb came and said hello to me and was the only team to openly use language that they would like to have me there. Which is def points with me. San jose features one of my favorite guys I GM’d in PBE in BOOM. Super Tardis is a good friend and Ben Dover is a critical part of the INDY competitive window. So points for having folks around I know. Seb is an understanding fellow and seems to be a good guy and his scouting conversation was nice and light and easy. These first 5 are honestly all quite tight together. Id be happy with any of the 6 landing spots that have talked to me so far but these are the 5 best. Tiny gap back to 6 that I will explain as this.
When I was a PBE CO I was the scouting director and I evenly distributed the scouting duties to the small army of scouts i had in KC at my disposal. Whether I get scouted or not is what matters most but if I get scouted by 1 teams GM or CO-GM and for another I get a WR member. I have to give slightly more points to the team that sent the GM. However, as I mentioned scouting is most important.
So you read that interlude and think wait, but San Jose. Saying, hey we’d love to have you here is where you make the points back up from not sending someone especially when so far that has been a rarity ( them being the only team). So props to them and its why they get grouped up there.
Arkz came to scout me from the wraiths and from his perspective at least seems they are on the way down. Which would fit well with me being a piece of the future because build the trenches ETC ETC. The conversation with Arkz was easily the shortest (other than NYS) and while it was fine and got the nuts and bolts it was the nuts and bolts. Now I will be the first to admit, you can pin some of that squarely on me. Im not a good conversator unless I got something in common knowledge wise. So that is my look at the 6 teams that have scouted me so far. How will it all pan out? I dont even think we find out for another 2 weeks and we of course have plenty of time to figure things out.
I do have one PSA for GM’s. Scout me, I dont care if you dont have many picks just take the time.
I will be writing down every team that doesnt scout me. NTC going in my contracts to those teams and if you draft me you either A trade me or B I retire and make my way back to my friends in Portland and start again. This is my second league I dont give a damn if I start year 1 over.If you dont scout me dont draft me. Unless you wanna waste a pick and piss me off.
