*Comparing Mock Drafts to Real Draft - Trempale - 09-09-2021
The obvious Thing to do after a draft is comparing the mock drafts to the actual draft.
So here we go:
It always depends on how you value the predictions. I personally had two grading systems.
1 Grading System:
- Right Spot = 3 Points
- Right Team = 2 Points
- Right Round = 1 Point
2 Grading System:
- Right Spot = 3 Points
- Right Round = 2 Points
- Right Team = 1 Point
With two grading systems we have different Results.
Here is the result with grading system 1:
Best Mock Draft:
@2Lzy with his Mock Draft based on Activity, with 13 Points.
He had 1 Prospect in the right spot, 3 Prospects with the right team and 4 Prospects in the right rounds.
Tied for 2nd Place we have 3 Mocks:
We have @2Lzy's second Mock based on Needs with 11 Points.
He had 0 Prospects in the right spot, 3 Prospects with the right team and 5 Prospects in the right rounds.
We also have @jackalewis229 with his Mock with 11 Points.
He had 1 Prospect in the right spot, 3 Prospects with the right team and 2 Prospects in the right rounds.
Myself with 11 points
I had 1 Prospect in the right spot, 1 Prospect with the right team and 6 Prospects in the right rounds.
In last place we have @unconfident69 with 6 points but in his defence he only did the first round. So 6 points is a really good result!
He had 0 Prospects in the right spot, 2 Prospects with the right team and 2 Prospects in the right rounds.
If we go with grading System 2 then we have a different winner. Now just so it doesn't look as bad. I didn't know i'd win with this grading System as i set the grading system before i knew the results ^^I swear
1st Place:
Myself with 16 Points.
2nd Place:
@2Lzy with his activity based Mock with 14 Points.
3rd Place:
@2Lzy with his needs based Mock with 13 Points.
4th Place:
@jackalewis229 with 10 Points
5th Place:
@unconfident69 with 6 Points, again keep in mind that he only did the first round.
Final result if we count both grading systems together:
We have a tie for 1st place:
@2Lzy and myself with overall 27 points!
2nd place:
@2Lzy with 24 points
3rd place:
@jackalewis229 with 21 points
4th place:
@unconfident69 with 12 points, but if we multiply that with 2(he only did one round) we get to 24 points, which would be 2nd.

@Trempale What an outcome! We took some drafts down a peg or two... including our own. I'm not surprised at all, great job on this and congrats on the draft!
