S31 Host City Shortlist - Blasoon - 09-10-2021

Hello, ISFL!

It is time to announce the shortlist for the Season 31 Ultimus Bowl Host City. I would first like to thank everyone who submitted a bid. Myself and the rest of my committee thoroughly enjoyed reading each one. As always, for those who did not have time to submit a proposal, I'll be free all season to answer any questions you might have.

I started to vote and I just wanted to be sure I understood. These are the three cities and brandings ... period. No choice there. They will all be used. The only question is which branding will go to which event? I'm not sure why we are voting then. I guess if we really like a branding we vote it for the event we most care about? I'm just confused and was thinking I might not be getting it.

Good question. So basically, I run with a points based system, but it's just preference really. If you think the Ultimini is the top event you want to be a part of (as DSFLers might) you can vote your favourite branding there. I think that I'll be able to look at data on the 14th and conclude who's going where. But thank you for your concerns, if this remains a source of confusion for everyone, I'll change it back to a 1-2-3 type system next season for the Ultimus, Ultimini and WFC, respectively.

There are literally only 3 proposals.

Kinda on what TMo said but we got three this season but with more logos needing to be made, I'm casting a far wider net. From next season, as long as the post is not offensive or super low effort or unfeasible for me to make, it'll end up on the shortlist.
