*How much can a max earner earn? - Raven - 09-11-2021 [2774 words, heard there's a 1.5x media or something going on] [I hope I got all the tpe opportunies, if I did not yell at sidd] How much can a max earner earn if a max earner could max earn? Now, besides being a play on a world famous tongue twister it is also the subject of this article. Back in my day Dermot’s 1490 TPE peak with his player Dermot Lavelle Jr seemed like a huge milestone that would never be broken. However not long after everyone and their mom broke the 1490 TPE milestone, dropping Dermot Lavelle Jr all the way down to 14th overall. After Dermot was taken down Frostbite had the record for a while with his player Chizuru Ichinose at 1559 TPE. However, nowadays according to the tracker, Traunter hit 1582 TPE with his player Sam Howitzer and is the new TPE leader. This is not an article in which I want to be an old man and bitch about TPE inflation and how the youth have it so much easier and that back in my day you had to write a PT of 2000 words both in english and latin while walking in the snow uphill both ways while going to the training grounds. No, this article will be a look at what the max amount of tpe a user could earn is. What if a user just knew all the predictions, just knew who would explode in fantasy that year and just knew which teams would over and under perform in the regular season and playoffs. What is the maximum? Well, let's find out. Let us first lay down the basics. - Once drafted to the ISFL players will hit regression after 7 seasons. That means that Max Perfect will have to earn for 8 full seasons (DSFL included) as well as the quarter season after the trade deadline. Which is TPE wise the best moment to create. - Max Perfect will score perfect on every prediction based PT (Mock, Season and Playoff Prediction). - Max Perfect is a big statistic and analytics guy. Through days and nights of calculation he always picks the most efficient Fantasy team and wins his group every year. - Max Perfect will of course also complete every PT satisfactory to its requirements and receive full marks. - Every season lasts 8 weeks. (July 7th marked the start of S30. August 31st marked the start of S31) That means 8 weeks of activity checks and weekly training. - Max Perfect always has money. He never posts media pieces or does anything, but somehow he always has the perfect amount in his bank to pay for everything. - Sometimes the site holds random events for holidays or in special cases like Bell Let’s Talks that reward a small amount of TPE. For the sake of simplicity and just not knowing when these events are I will not account for any of those. Basic numbers: Activity Check: 2 TPE Weekly Training: 5 TPE Weekly PT: 3 TPE Perfect Game Week Prediction: 4 TPE Season Predictions: 18 TPE Playoff Predictions: 5 TPE Mock Draft: 12 TPE Ultimus Week: 10 TPE Winning Fantasy: 5 TPE Offseason PT: 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment: 30 TPE DSFL Training Camp: 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp: (15/10/5/5/5/3/3) TPE S31, DSFL week 10, Trade deadline. User Max Perfect joins the league and creates his player, appropriately named, Max Perfect. He will be marked as a S33 player, will be put on waivers and can start earning right away. As a post trade deadline create, Max cannot purchase equipment this season or do the DSFL training camp. He can however create a wiki page, do the rookie point task and all active point tasks at this time. There are also 3 more weeks left in S31, so that means 3x training and 3x AC. TPE earning between trade deadline and begin S32: 3x 1m Training = 15 TPE (3x5) 3x Activity Check = 6 TPE (3x2) Week 10 - 16 Predictions = 24 TPE (6x4) Weekly Point Task = 6 TPE (2x3) Rookie Point Task = 12 TPE Create a wiki page = 10 TPE Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Ultimus Week = 0 TPE* Total = 83 earned Starting TPE Point: 50 TPE = 50 + 83 = 133 So a rookie who joined at the deadline and max earns till the season rolls over will have 133 TPE. (Technically + an extra AC/WT but we are counting that towards the next season). That’s not too shabby TPE wise. *Ultimus Week TPE doesn’t get posted until after the season rolls over. Meaning that every ultimus week claimed in a season is that of the previous season. This means I will add 10 TPE in Max Perfect’s final season even though ultimus week does not count towards that season's regression. TPE Earned in S32 (Season 0): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE DSFL Training Camp = 10 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 230 TPE Total = 133 + 230 = 363 As Max Perfect has now been drafted into the DSFL a few things open up for us. He can attend the DSFL Training Camp, buy equipment and join Fantasy. We get to predict all seasons now and that means a solid 64 TPE from predictions alone. Just to show the power of being a perfect earner. Max Perfect now has 5 more TPE than S31 tpe leader Omni Man. Despite Omnia man having already claimed 2 weeks of WT/AC, Tier 6 Equipment and ultimus from the new season. TPE Earned in S33 (Season 1): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 15 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 235 TPE Total = 363 + 235 = 598 Drafted into the ISFL baby. Not much has changed, besides instead of claiming DSFL training camp. We now have the ISFL training camp. The first season we can claim 15 TPE from the camp. However this amount will lower with each season, next season we get 10 tpe, the three seasons after that it is 5 tpe and then it is 3 tpe the rest of the way. Besides the changing TPE amount from Training Camp nothing else changes in the upcoming season. So I will skip ahead to the final pre regression season. TPE Earned in S34 (Season 2): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 10 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 230 TPE Total = 598 + 230 = 828 TPE Earned in S35 (Season 3): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 5 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 225 TPE Total = 828 + 225 = 1053 TPE Earned in S36 (Season 4): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 5 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 225 TPE Total = 1053 + 225 = 1278 TPE Earned in S37 (Season 5): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 5 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 225 TPE Total = 1278 + 225 = 1503 TPE Earned in S38 (Season 6): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 1503 + 223 = 1726 TPE Earned in S39 (Season 7): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 1726 + 223 = 1949 We’ve reached the end of the ride and what a wacky ride it has been. As a reminder the current highest peak TPE achieved was 1582. Max Perfect smashed that by 367 TPE. It has now been 7 seasons since his draft into the ISFL so that means it is regression time. I think it would also be fun to see if this earning changes anything to how long an average career can go for. If I remember correctly the max right now considering reasonable normal earning is 13 seasons total, 12 post ISFL draft. Let’s see how long Max Perfect can go for. As a reminder of course here is the regression scale: after 7th season - 20% TPE loss after 8th season - 25% TPE loss after 9th season - 30% TPE loss after 10th season - 40% TPE loss after 11th season - 50% TPE loss after 12th season - 60% TPE loss after 13th+ season - 75% TPE loss Regression (S33) - Max Perfect - 20% TPE Loss (1949 * 0.8 = 1559 TPE) One round of regression and Max Perfect has the same amount of tpe as Chizuru Ichinose peak TPE. Anyways back to the regular earning season. TPE Earned in S40 (Season 8, 1 regressions): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 1559 + 223 = 1782 Regression (S33) - Max Perfect - 25% TPE Loss (1782 * 0.75 = 1337 TPE) We leet baby. After two regression we are still around the level of an elite maxed out player. TPE Earned in S41 (Season 9, 2 regressions): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 1337 + 223 = 1560 Regression (S33) - Max Perfect - 30% TPE Loss (1560 * 0.70 = 1092 TPE) After three regression we might not have all the traits or be fully maxed in every attribute, but we are still hanging in there and chilling. TPE Earned in S42 (Season 10, 3 regressions): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 1092 + 223 = 1315 Regression (S33) - Max Perfect - 40% TPE Loss (1315 * 0.60 = 789 TPE) Oke 4 regressions in and we are kinda feeling it. 789 is still a decent level to be at and we will hit around 850ish once the regular season starts. TPE Earned in S43 (Season 11, 4 regressions): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 789 + 223 = 1012 Regression (S33) - Max Perfect - 50% TPE Loss (1012 * 0.50 = 506 TPE) So first of all. We still were able to hit 1k again and this time we were hit by a hard 50% chop. 506 is still a serviceable amount of tpe kinda depending on the position. TPE Earned in S44 (Season 12, 5 regressions): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 506 + 223 = 729 Regression (S33) - Max Perfect - 60% TPE Loss (729 * 0.40 = 292 TPE) 6 regressions in and we are really feeling it. We position switch to kicker and kick a perfect 100/100 xp/fg season. TPE Earned in S45 (Season 13, 6 regressions): 8x 1M Training = 40 TPE (8x5) 8x Activity Check = 16 TPE (8x2) Weekly Point Task = 15 TPE (5x3) Week 1-16 Predictions = 64 TPE (16x4) Playoff Predictions = 5 TPE Season Predictions= 18 TPE Ultimus Week = 10 TPE ISFL Training Camp = 3 TPE Offseason PT = 5 TPE Tier 6 Equipment = 30 TPE Mock Draft = 12 TPE Winning Fantasy= 5 TPE Total = 223 TPE Total = 292 + 223 = 515 Regression (S33) - Max Perfect - 75% TPE Loss (515 * 0.25 = 129 TPE) We auto retire after falling below the 150 TPE range. After our 13th ISFL season or 14th (and a quarter) overall season career it is all over. We survived 6 regressions, but it was that final 7th regresison at 75% that just absolutely killed us. You might earn perfectly, you might not even feel regression for those first few seasons. But father time comes for us all and you cannot hide behind your perfect predictions. All in all a fun little dive into. Of Course no one will have a career like this. No one is able to predict every game and season standing. It is a sim engine, it is full of randomness and that is also just what life is, a whole bunch of randomness. There was a whole bunch of math involved in this, so I probably got something wrong somewhere. If you see something that went wrong or a TPE opportunity I missed out on. Yell at Sidd, Sidd told me I have everything. Damn you Sidd *shakes fist* RE: How much can a max earner earn? - Crodyman - 09-11-2021 ayyy this is cool. RE: How much can a max earner earn? - 124715 - 09-11-2021 role model RE: How much can a max earner earn? - Duilio05 - 09-11-2021 Actually, regression has typically been due after the new season starts. Meaning the player could buy their new season Tier6 equipment and be back above 150 in the same regression update. Does the 150 tpe auto retirement take effect immediately upon hitting 149 or less after regression? Does the 150 tpe auto retirement take effect immediately upon hitting 149 or less after regression? The rulebook states "Players will be auto-retired once they regress below 150 TPE.". So I am pretty sure once the regression calculation has you below at 149 or less you are forced retired instantly. RE: How much can a max earner earn? - YoungTB - 09-11-2021 yea buddy RE: How much can a max earner earn? - xenosthelegend - 09-11-2021 I did some math, and unless I messed up, you need to be at 3650 just to reach a 14th season. RE: How much can a max earner earn? - Vorshayla - 09-12-2021 You can buy equipment for the current season as soon as you recreate after the trade deadline no? Since the "cut off" isn't until the new season is under way? so that's another 30 TPE as a recreate RE: How much can a max earner earn? - Raven - 09-12-2021 (09-12-2021, 12:08 AM)Vorshayla Wrote: You can buy equipment for the current season as soon as you recreate after the trade deadline no? I don't believe so. As Trade deadline creates aren't allowed to do DSFL Training Camp or purchase equipment. Even if you recreate, pretty sure you just lose out on the right to purchase equipment for that season. Sheeesh. Few more expansions and we might be able to reach that with the current system in place haha. |
