Dougie Smalls Retires - iseedoug - 10-24-2021 It is time for Dougie Smalls to retire from the ISFL. I didn't get to be as active or high earning with Dougie as I was with Ben, but managed to last 10 seasons and accomplish a few things. Career Overview: 10 Seasons (4 on the Yellowknife Wraiths, 6 on the New York Silverbacks) 2x Ultimus Champ 3x Conference Champ (2x NSFC, 1x ASFC) 6x Playoff Appearances 2x Punter of the Year 1x Kicker of the Year 4x Pro Bowl Tied Playoff Field Goal Length Record (57 yards in S23) 1290 Career Regular Season Points, 1375 Career Points include Playoffs 96.38% Career Extra Point Percentage in Regular Season 89.72% Career Field Goal Percentage in Regular Season 97.14% Career Extra Point Percentage in Playoffs 92.31% Career Field Goal Percentage in Playoffs 46.80 Average Yards per Punt over Career Regular Season 45400 Total Career Punt Yards in Regular Season Its a bit hard to directly compare Dougie to other kickers in history, as he played across the 13 game to 16 game season transition and the old sim to new sim transition. Dougie definitely shined in the playoffs several times, but had some consistency issues in the regular season. It feels like I have built another Hall of Very Good Player, but had fun doing it. As always had fun with lots of people across the Yellowknife and New York LRs. Still lots of great people in the league after all these years. Shout out to all the awesome GMs in Dougie's career.
