*S32 ISFL Fantasy Rankings - Pvtpenne - 10-29-2021

Unfortunately I'm going to be rushing these out as the fantasy drafts are starting a little bit sooner than I've expected and I've been playing catchup doing analysis on last season. I'm not going to write up a ton of information on all of my picks for time's sake. Additionally, they probably aren't going to be as thought out as I would like due to how early the drafts are starting up in relation to S32. As I'm typing this the draft has yet to be shown, regression isn't due, send down decisions haven't been made, etc. Basically the rosters aren't 100% finalized so a few things might change after all that stuff happens, but it shouldn't have a profound impact on the rankings.

Running Backs:

Tier 1:
Cobra Kai  HON

In my opinion, both of these guys are proven and have no question marks coming into the season. Definitely the safest top end running backs to take. (EDIT: moved Goat Tank to Tier 2 post trade)

Tier 2:
Goat Tank  BER
Jay Cue Jr.   YKW
Deadly Memes  ARI

Jay Cue is coming off of a great season but there is a big question mark of QB play for Yellowknife next season as well as regression among the WRs. Arizona should bounce back a little bit from last season and due to regression, Memes should be more of a legit RB 1 for the Outlaws since Nakamura is being hit harder by regression.

Tier 3:
Jamar Lackson  SJS
Drip Dad  COL
Madison Hayes  CHI
Busch Goose  BAL
Dante King  BAL
Tatsu Nakamura  ARI
Mike Rotchburns  NOLA

A lot of these guys have pretty high potential for S32, but aren't sure bets so that's why they are in this tier. The RBs in this tier are either regressing pretty hard, in shared backfields, or are a part of questionable offenses. I think by the end of the season there might be a couple of duds from this tier, but there is the potential for multiple top 5 RBs.

Tier 4:
Zoe Watts  AUS
Jim the Vampire  AUS
Lonnie Jackson  PHI
Captain Rogers  NYS
Tre'Darius J'Vathon  SAR
Rejoignez LOrdreSombre  CHI

Zoe Watts is a surprising name to see in this tier after being a top tier RB coming into S31, but Jim the Vampire is up and coming and the Austin offense should see a bit of a downtick overall after losing Videl-San. Lonnie Jackson has a ton of potential if Philly runs the ball more than they did last season.

Wide Receivers:

Tier 1:
Eleven Kendrick-Watts  HON
Raphael Delacour  COL
Jake Fencik  PHI
Mark Walker  YKW
Cmon Skiuuup  BER

Coming off of an Ultimus championship and having little regression in the offense, Honolulu might explode this season offensively and Kendrick-Watts would be the primary beneficiary of that. Delacour and Fencik should lead crowded receiving corps as they did last season, but that shouldn't stop them from producing. Walker and Skiuuup will be guaranteed WR1's on their teams.

Tier 2:
Luke Quick  BAL
Jackson Kingston  SAR
Zach Crossley  SJS
Tugg Speedman  NYS

Some high TPE wide receivers here in this tier on teams with QBs that aren't quite at their peak.

Tier 3:
Killian Chambers  PHI
Darren Pama  ARI
Bayley Cowabunga  AUS
Tsuyu Asui  COL
Cole Maxwell  COL
Taro Raimon  ARI
Kai Sakura  YKW

A lot of WRs in tier 3 that are in shared receiving corps where they won't see the vast majority of their teams targets but should get enough to produce. The only one who doesn't fit that mold is Cowabunga who is being thrust into the WR 1 role in Austin after Videl-San retired.

Quarterbacks:

Tier 1:
Ryan Negs  PHI
Mattathias Caliban  COL

The top 2 producers last season, no reason to think they don't end up top 2 again, but don't expect Caliban to have quite as good of a season in S32 as S31.

Tier 2:
Joliet Christ Jr.  HON
Dexter Zaylren  BER
Jackie Daytona  AUS
Gimmy Jaroppolo  BAL
Charlemagne Cortez  ARI

Some up and coming QBs here that I think take the next step to consistent fantasy production such as Christ, Zaylren, and Jaroppolo. Also a couple of really good QBs coming off down seasons relative to expectations in Dayonta and Cortez.

Tight Ends:

Tier 1:
Mario Messi  SAR
Sal Ami  HON
Makoa Mahi'ai  BAL

Coming off of a bunch of tight end retirements last season we have some new names making their way to the rankings like Sal Ami the TE 4 last year in a very good offense. Messi saw the retirement of Angler and some opportunity for more targets. The entirety of Baltimore's offense is on the rise and Mahi'ai could take advantage.

Tier 2:
Borgo San Lorenzo  PHI
Buffalo Hunter  YKW
Adam Spencer  NOLA
Nick L. Back  CHI

A lot of different tight ends could have made their way into this tier, it was a tough tier to create and some dart throws being made as a lot of these guys have some question marks regarding their team or role.

Kickers:

Tier 1:
Jacob Small  SAR
Lux Opal  COL
Cade York  ARI

Kicking is all about field goal attempts and getting those opportunities, this is more about the team than the kicker. I'm betting on these 3 offenses to produce among the most scoring opportunities.

Tier 2:
Sam Sidekick  CHI
Jean-Jacques Leroy  AUS
Freddy Bly HON

Same as tier 1, this is just about picking offenses that will produce the most kicking opportunities.

Defense:

Tier 1:
Philadelphia Liberty  PHI
Sarasota Sailfish  SAR
Berlin Fire Salamanders  BER

I think defense fantasy production is driven primarily by sacks and then by turnovers with interceptions being more predictive than fumble recoveries. So quite simply I think these defenses will get after the QB and have good secondaries.

Tier 2:
Chicago Butchers  CHI
Austin Copperheads  AUS
Colorado Yeti  COL

Same as tier 1, sacks and interceptions are the goals and these teams have good pass rushers and secondaries.

Offensive Line:

Tier 1:
Alexander Franklin  PHI
Stumpy Jones  SAR
Cade Williams  NOLA

Offensive line is tough because if a player is  being lined up at G instead of T their fantasy production will be in the tanks. These 3 were among the highest scorers in S31 but keep an eye out to make sure they line up at T and also take a look at their teammates too.

Tier 2:
Icebox Riposte  CHI
Jaja Ding Dong  SJS
Emperor de Pengu  COL

Same as tier 1, make sure these guys are lining up at T and not G.

Good luck and if you win TPE after reading my rankings, you are legally obligated to donate a portion of your TPE winnings to me.

The disrespect is real. Not even on the TE list but the undisputed bellcow in OCO’s offense doesn’t even get a mention? Shame.

Sorry man, the drafts started too soon and I had to rush these out. Didn’t want to make a million edits after the original version came out

Congrats on the draft selection and team you went to man. Forgot to mention it before @Pvtpenne
