ISFL joins the Sim League Federation! - Swanty - 11-11-2021
Hello ISFLers!
The ISFL is proud to announce that we've joined the ranks of the growing Sim League Federation (SLF). It's a great opportunity for us to stay close to our affiliate leagues, and we hope that you'll meet some new people and make the most of the great events that are sure to flourish from this initiative.
For those who haven't heard of it, the SLF is a central hub for users of various sim leagues to come together. Joining this server provides not only an opportunity to talk to a wider audience of sim-league lovers, but to discover leagues in other sports too. The SLF hosts vidcasts with commishers/HO from all leagues on a regular basis and is looking to host events for the wider sim league audience.

One of the first questions that might be on some users' minds is why we joined later than our affiliate leagues. While we had a few concerns initially that we would have loved to have ironed out beforehand, we ultimately decided that we would be better off trying to work these out in a more collaborative way as part of the SLF than attempting to resolve them from the outside. We're grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this flourishing alliance and can't wait to get involved!

The Trade Federation wanted nothing more than to exist outside the sphere of influence of the Republic, and to not get wrapped up in the inter-system squabbles that plagued the Republic for thousands of years. It all would have been fine if the damn Sith and Jedi would have left their stupid feuding to themselves instead of involving every planet in the galaxy.
