Seeing the Jbearly memorial game (RIP Good buddy! :unsure: ) made me think, it was a nice mix up of people, but what if there was an international series? Think about it at character creation you say where you are from and then maybe every 3 seasons you team up with other players from that area, obviously if there aren't enough people, you group up, like if only 10% of players are from places outside the US, then they all make up 1 world team, and the US team (with 90% of the players) get broken up into regions, say Midwest, Northeast, etc. it lets players play with people that in their normal career wouldn't be able to, and it gives us even more topics to both chat, do Media on, and trash talk! I at least would like to get the ball rolling on discussions about it :towel:

I remember first being exposed to this sort of thing in the VHL and it was all kinds of interesting, brought up a secondary layer of rivalries and was all around a lot of fun

This would be cool.
We actually have birthplace in the player sign up, and a quick check on my records (which admittedly haven't been updated in about a month now), I had 208 US players, and 43 from other countries (ignoring those who didn't specify a birthplace)
...this doesn't exclude retired players or inactives though.
I dunno, still a cool idea.
