*A. Boogie: Scouting Report - A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie - 08-24-2017

Artist Boogie, real name Artist Dubose has arrived on the football scene, and many scouts are interested in seeing what he is capable of. He is expected to be signed by one of eight teams in the National Simulation Football League in the next twenty four hours, and New Yorkers are going crazy to see the hometown rap star begin his football career. There's no tape for owners to study, so no one really knows visually what this kid is really good at. With that being said, let's dive right into what he can and can't do.

WORK ETHIC: The most valuable part of his game, is actually not a part of his game per say. Dubose's work ethic is like no other. Expect him to quickly rise as one of the league's premier corner backs as his competition begins to age. Regression wont be effective for a while, but don't expect Dubose to not catch up in due time. If he is as committed as we think he is, expect him to improve at a rapid rate.

FOOTBALL I.Q. / INTELLIGENCE: Dubose's skill set is made for a zone defense. It makes little sense to acquire Dubose if you plan on having him line up man to man on a nightly/daily basis. He is going to get burnt by a majority of the wide receivers, so it'd be better for coaches to ' hide ' him in a zone defense, where he isn't committed to a man and has support from a good safety behind him. Dubose isn't someone you start a good secondary with - but rather the final piece to the puzzle. Keep that in mind when thinking about picking him up in these next twenty four hours.

HANDS: Dubose has the hands right now of an above average receiver, and as he begins to train and grow you can expect him to have great hands - comparable to the likes of the best receivers in the league. These hands will allow him to be a ' ball hawk ' in a zone defense and he will quickly become known for jumping passes and running it back when possible.

LEADERSHIP: Dubose has always been the one to lead, he has never been known to be a follower.

SPEED & AGILITY : As stated above, Dubose could be much faster than he is. I don't see him getting much faster as his career progresses, either - which is why I recommend man-to-man dependent defenses avoid Boogie. He does not have the speed necessary to keep up with this league's best receivers. Neither is he agile, and will get exposed in most man-to-man encounters. Do not put Boogie on a #1 receiver in big moments.

TACKLING: Dubose is an average tackler, and will probably get trucked by stronger running backs and wide receivers.

OFF THE FIELD BEHAVIOUR: Dubose has been to jail before, and is known for hitting up clubs, etc. living the ' fast life ' and that might not be appealing to stricter, more serious owners who are all about business. Be aware of how young and immature Dubose still is.
