End of an Arch(stone) - GlimsTC - 12-20-2021

Always thought when I’d be writing this post, it was going to be the hardest thing I did in this league. And to be fair, it definitely still feels that way. Felix Archstone was my vessel to becoming a part of this league, meeting all sorts of people that I’d become great friends with (some even friends for life), and getting to be a part of so many fun moments. He was my first ever player for any sort of sim league and introduced me to a world I had no idea existed. I fell out of it as I began to take on way more than I could chew (joining other leagues, IRL matters, league drama, etc), and I admit, letting Felix sit sorta dormant like I did is something that I genuinely wish I didn’t do. But it is what it is, and I’m really happy with what he accomplished at OL, even if he wasn’t the best.

I want to thank the Kansas City Coyotes, @Buttersqauch101, @Starboy, and the Austin Copperheads for being the teams and people to believe in me as a person and Felix as a player. It meant a lot to me. For KCC, I was able to become their GM and also provide them with a two time pro bowl OL. For Baltimore, I was able to…uh…protect the best QB and my favorite player of all time Chika Fujiwara for a single season (in what was arguably one of my best seasons ever statistically). And in Austin I was able to become a team captain for the first time while also providing a few pro bowl seasons and be their awards rep for quite a while. I admit though, for what Austin took me at, I really did wrong by them. Wish I would have done so much more for them, but I have nothing but love and respect for them. They’re really great people and have always shown such a great deal of kindness to me. If I ever get the chance to pay them back, I’ll do that crud tenfold…Somehow, lol.

With all this being said, this is officially the end of Felix Archstone. Well, after his final season with Austin of course, but still. I might do a more in-depth career perspective at some point, but who knows. Until then, know that this is not the end for me, but a new beginning. Immediately, I will be recreating and starting this whole thing over again with passion renewed! Though, this time at a position that’ll be a bit more flashy.

The best OL to ever do it. I will not take any debates. Chika never forgets those that helped

Loved having you on the team Glims, thanks for being our awards rep and giving me an excuse to photoshop amazing hair and ears onto a football player  AUS  Heart

Thank you for everything, buddy. Don't ever feel like you did wrong by Austin. I don't think anyone on the team has anything bad to say about your time with us, and I wish you nothing but the best going forward. Looking forward to your new player!
