S2 TOP 50 PLAYERS OF TODAY
[/div]
Welcome to the second edition of the Top 50 NSFL Player's of Today. Last season was a success by some people's regards and a flop by others, so I did my best to make this year's list more comprehensive and inclusive. Below is the link to last season's results. In order to keep the year's meaning something, I've devised a system. 25% of a player's ranking will come from their post on the year prior's Top 50, and the remaining 75% will come from their ranking on THIS year's list. This means that a player's success is not only measured upon a one season performance, but their overall impact through the current stage of the progression.

(S2) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 08-30-2017

50. (S1) QB - King Bronko || New Entry - ARI @ADwyer87
Average Grade: 31.5 || Highest Rank: 5 || Lowest Rank: 42
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 42.875

Bronko is the first player to make this seasons' list finishing 5th in the league in total passing yards, 1st in touchdowns, and with an average passer rating of 77.1 which is good for 4th among all starting quarterbacks. Bronko spent most of his season using his impressive fire power to feed bullet passes to wide receiver threats Mayran Jackson and Dustin Evans who both had fantastic seasons. If not for his failure to make the list last season, Bronko would find himself narrowly qualifying for the Top 30.

49. (S1) CB - Jason Williams || -31 - ARI @RayCobaine
Average Grade: N/A || Highest Rank: N/A || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 18 || Weight Grade: 42.75

Williams had an amazing season last year, pushing himself all the way to eighteenth on the Top 50 player's list. His phenomenal performance last year didn't carry over into this season though, as he had a hard fall in all statistical categories. Williams posted 48 total tackles on the season, but his impact for the Outlaws can't be overlooked. His power as part of the secondary was a key part of their Ultimus Trophy win last season, and gave a surprising amount of aid in this year's final.

48. (S2) OL - Dieter Koch || New Entry - BAL @Sleepy
Average Grade: 39.7 || Highest Rank: 29 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 42.525

This is the first season two player to ever be featured on our Top 50 list and comes swinging in at 48th. Koch had a wonderful year with the Hawks, putting up 53 pancakes and only allowing 5 sacks against. Koch's enormous power is what sets him apart from other offensive line man across the league, and his unwavering stance against some of the best defensive lineman shows his true metal. Koch has a wonderful career ahead of him and should take every opportunity to use his potential.

47. (S1) RB - Leroy Jenkins || -30 - OCO @Jiggly_333
Average Grade: N/A || Highest Rank: N/A || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 17 || Weight Grade: 42.5

One of the premier running backs in the league last season, Jenkins took a hard fall from grade this year dropping down thirty positions to 47th overall. Jenkins didn't earn that 17th overall position last year for nothing though, and still managed to put up 640 yards as well as 2 touchdowns for the Otters this season. His impact for the team cannot just be purely focused on his statistics though as he is an on field leader for the entire team and a staple for confidence among his league mates.

46. (S1) LB - Tyler Varga || New Entry - LVL @RavensFanFromOntario
Average Grade: 31 || Highest Rank: 21 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 42.5

Tyler Varga exploded onto the season after a rough first season, taking his role of captain for the newly expanded Las Vegas Legion to a whole other level. Varga is an unstoppable threat on the defensive side of the ball, making 126 tackles, recording 6 tackles, forcing 2 and recovering 1 fumble as well as taking an interception just to pad his stats a little more. Varga is an all around defensive master for the Legion, and will be the center piece of their line up for years to come.

45. (S1) DT - J.J Reigns || -29 - OCO @Shaka
Average Grade: N/A || Highest Rank: N/A || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 16 || Weight Grade: 42.25

Reigns is a name that most people haven't since he hyped himself up to become the first overall and first ever pick in NSFL history for the Orange County Otters. One of the most talked about players in season one not only due to his attitude and draft ranking but also performance, Reigns was another player who hit the dust hard, falling just under thirty spots on the Top 50. This season Reigns posted 41 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 9 sacks for the California based Otters, numbers that aren't incredible but do give him a right to make his way back onto this list, maybe for his final year.

44. (S1) LB - Alexander Selich || -29 - SJS @Tomen
Average Grade: N/A || Highest Rank: N/A || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 15 || Weight Grade: 42

Selich comes in as the fourth player in a row among last season's Top 20 to have fallen around 30 spots in this years' ranking. While his caliber of play last season was incredible, this year was a loss for the Sabercats first round draft pick in season one. His performance wasn't horrible as he still managed to make 112 tackles and post 4 sacks, but for a player of his draft position and history of success you should be expecting and receiving a lot more. With continued development Selich could climb back into the higher rankings on this list.

43. (S1) WR - Bradley Westfield || -19 - OCO @Bwestfield
Average Grade: 47.9 || Highest Rank: 35 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 24 || Weight Grade: 41.925

Westfield was one of the strongest receivers on last season's list and made a huge splash with the Otters. He's still a phenomenal player, but his development hit a growth stunt this season and his stats went with it. Westfield pushed for the 1000 yard target on receiving yards but fell short with 962. He added 6 touchdowns, good to tie him for third in the league but it wasn't nearly a strong enough season to keep him in the upper half of the list once again. There is still a lot of potential in Westfield, and his career is no where near finished. The sky is the limit.

42. (S2) OL - Micah Hendrix || New Entry - PHI @HalfEatenOnionBagel
Average Grade: 38.25 || Highest Rank: 29 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 41.7

Hendrix is the second season two player to join this list, and also fills a much needed role on the offensive line. Hendrix is a big name in the league, and will have a massive impact with the Liberty as they continue to grow into the dominant team they have on the way. Hendrix scraped together 54 pancakes (best on the Liberty roster) and allowed six sacks this season. As he continues to adapt to the way football is played in the NSFL, he'll progress into the strong and dependable player that Philadelphia really needs in order to make their dream of the Ultimus a reality.

41. (S1) CB - Alex Hayden || -28 - COL @Rich
Average Grade: N/A || Highest Rank: N/A || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 13 || Weight Grade: 41.5

Hayden was the highest ranked corner back on last year's list and for a good reason, coming in at thirteen. His performance was outstanding, and while he did have a small drop on this statistics this season, he certainly still deserves a place here on this list. Hayden was an essential piece of the Yeti's top talent defense recording 64 tackles, 2 interceptions, and even returning one of those interceptions for a defensive touchdown. Hayden's impact on the Yeti season and on the league as a whole is what keeps his name hovering inside this list.

(S2) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 08-30-2017

40. (S1) OL - Daniel Robicheaux || -28 - COL @Electraspace
Average Grade: N/A || Highest Rank: N/A || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 12 || Weight Grade: 41.25

Colorado brought in young offensive lineman Daniel Robicheaux last season to help with the weak offensive line problem they had. Daniel was a temporary and unrealistic replacement for actual talent on the line, but was enough to give Noble time to move the ball a little bit more than if a robot was playing on the line. The statistical side of the game wasn't super strong for DR this season as he only managed to post 36 pancakes while allowing a whopping 13 sacks. Of course, this was playing alongside some of the worst offensive lineman in the league, and so he didn't have a whole lot to work with. Robicheaux is an elite player playing alongside poor players and will have to adjust his playing style this season if he wants to remain even near contention for the Top 50.

39. (S1) OL - Jogn Floggity || New Entry - YKW @Jogn
Average Grade: 28.4 || Highest Rank: 14 || Lowest Rank: 47
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 40.55

Floggity is part of the elite offensive line that is slowly being built up on the Yellowknife Wraiths. With star fire power in players like Chris Orosz, Josh Garden, and Bailey Cook, the offensive line in Yellowknife is a key component of their recent success. Floggity was a monster for them this season after a slow start to his career last year, posting 55 pancakes and only allowing 3 sacks. His number were very strong, especially for a player coming off the weak performance he's had in the past. If he continues to develop like he has been, he could see himself skyrocketing up this list in no time, even cracking the top half. Yellowknife is a team on the up, and with Floggity at offensive line they should have plenty of time to exploit the defense like they love to do.

38. (S1) DE - Fuego Wozy || New Entry - COL @TheWoZy
Average Grade: 35.7 || Highest Rank: 24 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 55 || Weight Grade: 40.525

Wozy has been an integral part of the Colorado locker room and on field dominance since his first day with the team. Bursting onto the list this season at number 38, Fuego played a great season for the maroon donning Yeti. In wake of a total shift in the management team part way through the season, Wozy took on field leadership into his hands and led by definition and example. A great show of this is his statistics, which gained him a lot of attention. Wozy posted 12 tackles and an enormous 12 sacks for Colorado, tying S1 Colorado DPOTY Jonathan Saint for the team lead. His step up from last season threw him right into contention for this list, and his attachment to the team in terms of commitment and leadership is what set him over the edge.

37. (S1) DT - Vinny Cox || +2 - LVL @Gooney
Average Grade: 41 || Highest Rank: 17 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 39 || Weight Grade: 40.5

Vinny Cox started his career in the maroon colors of Colorado in season one but found his way onto the Legion roster through the expansion draft. Cox is a solid defensive line member and has been putting up solid numbers consistently, first for the Yeti and now in Las Vegas. His presence on the field is unrivaled, and talks with opposition will confirm that he is a force to be reckoned with. One of his specialties is closing down holes for running backs to dart through, shown by his 61 tackles. Alongside this high tackle count, Cox had 13 sacks on the season, rushing opposition quarterbacks relentlessly and shutting down any offense a team could run. Cox looks to slowly climb his way up the list, and with the way his development is going could see a jump soon.

36. (S1) K/P - Turk Turkleton || +2 - BAL @Raven
Average Grade: 40.2 || Highest Rank: 25 || Lowest Rank: 47
Previous Rank: 38 || Weight Grade: 39.65

As Cox moves up, Turkleton is right on his tail. Turk finished one spot behind Cox last season and reclaims that spot, also moving up two positions to finish one behind him once again. The starting kicker/punter in Baltimore has been making waves as he was one of the big reasons for the success of the Hawks this season. It seems odd to think just how much impact a kicker can have, but Turkelton had a 95.8% extra point conversion with 23 points made alongside leading the league in field goals 33 and a completion rating of 89.2%. Combined, he contributed 122 points to his team this season. Without these points, the Hawks could have found themselves losing quite a few more games then they did, and behind a weak kicker may not have even qualified for the playoffs.

35. (S1) OL - Ben Longshaw || New Entry - SJS @`BenLongshaw`
Average Grade: 26.3 || Highest Rank: 2 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 38.975

With easily the biggest and weirdest gap in expert rankings, Longshaw found himself being ranked second once, Top 20 twice, and unlisted twice. The public opinion on Longshaw seems to be a general consensus of "we don't know and we're not going to try and change that". While Longshaw had a strong season, he doesn't finish high on this list mostly based upon the players he was surrounded by. An individual performs better when given better partners, and Longshaw was carried by his team mates. The poster boy of the Sabercats o-line, Longshaw led the league in pancake with 73 while only allowing 5 sacks all season. This seems like a performance that would easily warrant a top half finish, but due to his poor start to his career last season and a lack of training recently, he drops off.

34. (S1) TE - George Wright Jr. || New Entry - OCO @Player1
Average Grade: 33.5 || Highest Rank: 15 || Lowest Rank: 49
Previous Rank: 54 || Weight Grade: 38.625

Wright Jr. finished one step behind Wozy for last year's list but squeezes on this season at rank 34. Wright had an excellent performance for the Otters, and earned his spot on this list through hard play and dedication to his team. As one of the only elite level tight ends in the league, his value to the Otters is indefinite and as he looks to make himself an elite player recognized around the league, he will continue to develop until reaching his true form. Wright posted 567 yards, good for third among tight ends as well as 3 touchdowns behind only Carmel Gibson of the Baltimore Hawks (meme confirmed). His play was phenomenal and this won't be the last time you see him on this list as he continues to push harder each and every year.

33. (S1) WR - None Stormblessed || -14 - LVL @Stormblessed
Average Grade: 44.7 || Highest Rank: 37 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 19 || Weight Grade: 38.275

Last season, Stormblessed was touted as one of the premier receivers in the league. While he can still hold that title, his move from the desert of Arizona to the desert of Las Vegas was not one that benefited his statistics. Stormblessed is an athlete with tremendous skill and potential for success, and once the Legion get there hands on some decent players to assist him he'll be back to the top in no time. His performance was miserable by any standard as he still managed to lead the Legion in receiving yards with 759 alongside an outstanding eight touchdowns which ranked him second in the league behind only Kendrick Hendrix of the Colorado Yeti. Should he keep up his pace in Vegas, and stay along for the hard ride he will likely be rewarded as the Legion look to become a dominant team.

32. (S1) DE - Kurt Hendrix || -18 - BAL @HENDRIX
Average Grade: 45.9 || Highest Rank: 18 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 14 || Weight Grade: 37.925

Hendrix was a raging contender last season for the top defensive line player, competing against star Jayce Tuck. This season he fell off the wagon a little bit, dropping down into the bottom half of the list while previously being ranked in the Top 15. His fall isn't something that should worry Hawks fans though, as it's more than likely he's just having an off season. Hendrix was thrust into the roll of stardom in Baltimore this season and didn't handle the pressure to well, but slowly started improving with it as the season went by. One the season he posted 42 tackles and an amazing 13 sacks, still worthy of a spot on this list and something that Baltimore fans should be happy to see. If he can increase his tackles while keeping his sacks on par, he'll be back into the top half in no time.

31. (S1) S - Dominic Verns || New Entry - OCO @Roshambo
Average Grade: 30.7 || Highest Rank: 24 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 53 || Weight Grade: 36.275

Verns comes onto the list as another player new to the Top 50. This season he exploded into his role as a part of the Otters secondary and even found his way into a management position. The Otters are a team that has flown under the radar so far in the NSFL, staying out of media spotlight after the controversy of Gregor Clegane and the quarterback battle that raged into the regular season. Verns comes in as a fresh face to the franchise, despite being there since the start. His on field participation is his greatest aspect, as he had an absolutely incredible year. Verns lead all defensive backs with 104 tackles as well as 12 sacks and 3 interceptions. These stats don't even begin to explain the total impact he had on the season though, as he contributed to a number of shut down defensive plays. Expect to see him quickly rise up this list.

(S2) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 08-30-2017

30. (S1) QB - Logan Noble || -27 - COL @Noble
Average Grade: 46.9 || Highest Rank: 26 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 3 || Weight Grade: 35.925

Logan Noble is recognized around the league as the single most talented quarterback in terms of personal skill, but his performance on field has not added up to the quality of player he has. This season, the dramatic lack of an offensive line in Colorado became more and more evident, and the team started to slowly fail as the season went by. With talented receivers like Kendrick Hendrix, Jon Ross, and D.J Law, this is a team that should be relying heavily on their passing game. Instead, they've been harbored to the slow moving rush style. Despite not having an offensive line, Noble still put up 3018 yards, good for his personal best. On top of this he made 18 touchdowns passes this season, good for third in the league. Due to a lack of an offensive line, he threw a huge 20 interceptions though, which is the main reason for him falling far on this list from last season.

29. (S1) WR - Mayran Jackson || New Entry - ARI @Kendrick
Average Grade: 21.6 || Highest Rank: 14 || Lowest Rank: 38
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 35.45

Mayran Jackson is one of the strongest receivers in the league and took on the role of primary receiver in Arizona after the loss of Stormblessed to the Las Vegas Legion. This stud of a player shared receptions with rookie receiver Dustin Evans but wasn't afraid to let the younger player know who was boss. Jackson posted 1201 yards, beating his own personal best and smashing himself into the top five in receiving yards. Alongside this he was part of the large group of players tying for second in touchdowns with eight, falling behind only Kendrick Hendrix of the Yeti. While he didn't finish at the very top of the charts in any of the major statistical categories, he was a massive part of the success in Arizona and a huge reason for their return to the Ultimus and eventual repeat championship win. Should he keep up his production he will quickly see himself rise into the top half.

28. (S1) RB - Boss Tweed || New Entry - COL @PigSnout
Average Grade: 21.3 || Highest Rank: 8 || Lowest Rank: 31
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 35.225

Boss Tweed bursts onto the list at the 28th ranking after a lack luster season playing second and third string to the Yeti's previous starter Luke Tiernan. With the road to stardom paved in Colorado and a lot of talent in quarterback Logan Noble, Tweed has the right player to move him the ball and is slowly getting the time to do it as Colorado consistently attempts to upgrade their offensive line. Tweed had a dominant showing this season, finishing with an average ranking of 21.3 from our experts due to his amazing statistical showing. Tweed finished top five in rushing yards, while having less carries than any of his competition in that bracket with 1054 yards. His 3.7 YPC was best of any first string rusher, and his six touchdowns were a sweet side to his outstanding all around performance.

27. (S1) CB - John Canton || New Entry - SJS @Sweetwater
Average Grade: 20.6 || Highest Rank: 11 || Lowest Rank: 30
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 34.7

Canton is another new addition to the list, and narrowly missed the top half, qualifying at #27. While he isn't a name that gets thrown around a lot, his absolute dominance on the San Jose secondary set a bar for corner backs around the league and he was recognized by his peers as he received an average rating of 20.6 with his lowest number coming in at 30. This is a star athlete with dreams of pushing for the top, and he isn't stopping with just one great season with the Saberkittens. In terms of statistics, the numbers don't sum up just how amazing of a season Canton had. With 58 tackles and 2 interceptions, you can't quite see how Canton has become so highly touted. If you look more closely at his play though, you will notice just how much of an impact J.C had on the weak roster put forward by the Sabercats this season.

26. (S2) WR - Fox North || New Entry - PHI @Silver Fox
Average Grade: 27.4 || Highest Rank: 7 || Lowest Rank: 43
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 33.3

North is the first season two player seen on this list all the way since Hendrix at 42nd, and is another player for the Philadelphia Liberty. The season as a whole was not a strong one for the expansion Liberty, but as it progressed the offense began to take over and the prospects acquired in the season two draft (such as North) became stalwarts of success for the team and led them to a second half resurgence. North was a huge part of the latter success in Philly as he sped past defenders and into open territories to send his name to the tops of the leader boards in terms of major statistics. North finished with an astounding 1302 yards, averaging 17.1 YPC, which put him at the top of any receiver. North only posted four touchdowns, but this is mainly because North's job was to break into the twenty yard pass zone and wait, being quickly tackled after making his catch.

25. (S1) RB - Omar Wright || -15 - PHI @`xdave2456`
Average Grade: 38.9 || Highest Rank: 29 || Lowest Rank: 48
Previous Rank: 10 || Weight Grade: 31.675

Alongside Fox North, Omar Wright was a huge piece of the more recent success in Philadelphia and will continue to fill that role this season as the primary back for the young Liberty. As a part of a team that relies heavily upon it's season two draftees, Wright was a locker room leader and on field grizzly, tumbling and tearing his way into the end zone time and time again. While he may not be a player who has received a whole lot of media attention, Wright is an active member of the football community and has been seen giving his voice in the NSFL Player's Association. In terms of statistics he didn't break a sweat, posting 916 yards with a strong average of 3.5 YPC all while leading the entire league in touchdowns, a feat that he hasn't been afraid to share with opposing defenses or rival backs.

24. (S1) TE - Ricky Maddox || New Entry - YKW @SimmerDownBruhh
Average Grade: 15.5 || Highest Rank: 9 || Lowest Rank: 38
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 30.875

Of all the tight ends in the NSFL, this is the player who garnered the most attention this season and last. Maddox was an integral part of the success in Yellowknife, and contributed to their dominant offensive style they run between Josh Garden, Chris Orosz, and Bubba Nuck. The four players combined to make one of the deadliest line ups, and Maddox was special because his play was strong on both ends of the offense. Maddox lead all tight ends in receiving yards with 603, narrowly edging out Paul DiMirio by two yards. With a YPC of 7.3 and 2 touchdowns on the season, Maddox was a huge force to be reckoned with on the Wraiths offense. His contributions didn't end there though as he forced 33 panckes on the offensive line and didn't allow a single sack in his time playing this season.

23. (S1) QB - Mike Boss || New Entry - OCO @JBLAZE_THE_BOSS
Average Grade: 15.3 || Highest Rank: 10 || Lowest Rank: 25
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 30.725

Mike Boss is the third quarterback featured on our list and the first of the top half. His play for the Otters this season was incredible, but because of the nature of the ASFC and Orange County as a franchise his success went mostly unnoticed by management groups and critics around the league. As one of the arguably top three quarterbacks league wide, Boss has big expectations on his shoulders as he looks to bring the Otters past the Outlaws for the first time in his three year career. With the pieces and assets the team has moved in over the past few seasons they will be more than poised to make that plan a reality. Boss threw a solid 3609 yards this year, second in the league and boasted a completion percentage of 60.6%. He did this all while throwing 21 touchdowns, but like many quarterbacks this season had a bad interception rating with 16.

22. (S2) CB - Tyler Oles || New Entry - PHI @`To12143`
Average Grade: 23.8 || Highest Rank: 14 || Lowest Rank: 36
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 30.6

Tyler Oles has been and will continue to be one of the top young defenders in the game, and he showed that this season with the Philadelphia Liberty. After being selected 12th overall in the 2nd round of the S2 Entry Draft, Oles exploded into his role as a starting corner back for the weak defensive Liberty and quickly developed into an absolute monster. With one of the best performances of any S2 player, Oles is poised to rise quick and dominantly towards the top of the list and into the record books. This season Oles posted 63 tackles alongside 6 interceptions with 12 passes defended playing into the mix. He may be young and inexperienced right now, but his potential knows no limits and he has his head turned towards the sky as he looks for success on a newly anointed Liberty roster.

21. (S1) LB - Erasmo Broadway || New Entry - PHI @evryday
Average Grade: 14.9 || Highest Rank: 4 || Lowest Rank: 23

Broadway is a face that wasn't season last season and someone who suddenly jumped into the fan favorites list in Baltimore. After a weak start to his career in season one with a fairly dismal performance, Broadway became a defensive threat and helped lead the Baltimore Hawks to their divisional championship in both the regular season and playoffs. The biggest question from critics right now is if his success is just a fluke, a sham of good luck and a strong supporting cast. Broadway was given the limelight this season and the pressure is on to repeat with the same level of skill as last season. Broadway posted 115 tackles, a massive 12 sacks, and even had 3 interceptions on the year in what will go down as one of the top linebacker performances in the history of the NSFL.

(S2) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 08-30-2017

20. (S1) WR - Bailey Cook || +2 - YKW @RainDelay
Average Grade: 33.1 || Highest Rank: 23 || Lowest Rank: 48
Previous Rank: 22 || Weight Grade: 30.325

Cook is a player who's seen his way onto a new team since we covered him last year's list, following in the steps of A.C Hackett as he made his way to Yellowknife after having previously donned the Sabercats jersey. The two were a part of the reason for the semi-success in San Jose but were reportedly unhappy with the direction of the team. Now, the future is bright in San Jose as they've added some potential and Cook's deal counter part, Darren Smallwood is finding success. Cook had a strong performance in San Jose and shut down more towards the end of the season with the Wraiths due to playing second fiddle to star Josh Garden. Because of his reduced role but still strong stats, Cook finds himself wavering around in the middle ground of the list. This year he posted 1078 yards with an average per catch of 14.6 along with an impressive six touchdowns.

19. (S2) RB - Darlane Farlane || New Entry - BAL @Gwdaja
Average Grade: 22.3 || Highest Rank: 3 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 29.475

Farlane finds his way onto the list in a similar fashion to Ben Longshaw, with a very large margin of error between the opinions of experts. Farlane received two rankings in the Top 10 and went unranked twice, creating a rather large gap in the system and lowering his overall rating. This is because of some speculation as to just how successful Farlane really was. As a rusher, he was handed the ball a large number of times more than his competition, and even if he did post 1267 yards for the league all-time record he did that on 3.4 YPC which isn't anything special and certainly not what you'd expect for an all-american running back. Never the less, his skill is evident and his potential is limitless. Along with his yards he also posted five touchdowns for the top dog Hawks.

18. (S1) CB - Antoine Delacour || +23 - BAL @37thchamber
Average Grade: 25.2 || Highest Rank: 12 || Lowest Rank: N/A
Previous Rank: 41 || Weight Grade: 29.15

Delacour is known around the league as one of the top defensive backs, falling victim to the curse of the slightly weaker corner back position compared to his main competition which is safeties. Statistically speaking, Delacour doesn't look like he did a whole lot but his presence on the field for the Baltimore Hawks scared opposing quarterbacks out of feeding the ball anywhere near him in fear of risking an interception with his stellar hands. Delacour recorded 65 tackles on the season as well as 1 sack, 5 interceptions, and a solid 13 passes defended. His effort all season long for the Hawks pushed them into playoff contention and helped bring the NSFC Championship home. With his continued progress on the Baltimore roster he'll continue to kill his competition and develop into a real star in no time.

17. (S1) RB - Bubba Nuck || -16 - YKW @NUCK
Average Grade: 32.5 || Highest Rank: 16 || Lowest Rank: 44
Previous Rank: 1 || Weight Grade: 24.625

Here we see the biggest fall of the year, not in terms of positions but rather a fall from grace. Last season the league office voted star running back Bubba Nuck of the Yellowknife Wraith as the most valuable player, and he deserved it after the outstanding performance he had. This season Nuck continued his path to success but broke down behind other incredible backs as his progress slowed and his development eased its pace. Nuck was by no means dead weight with the ball for the Wraiths though, and still finished fourth in rushing yards league wide with 1041. Alongside this impressive total he had six touchdowns and a YPC of 3.6, something a solid running back can be proud to own up too. Expect Nuck to come back in full fashion for S3 as he looks to dominate on and off the field.

16. (S1) WR - Kendrick Hendrix || New Entry - COL @deadendpath27
Average Grade: 9.4 || Highest Rank: 3 || Lowest Rank: 22
Previous Rank: 68 || Weight Grade: 24.05

Kendrick Hendrix was a name not many people talked about heading into season two. He was the shared duty receiver on the Colorado Yeti roster, a team not known for its antics or loud characters, and was sitting behind D.J Law, a more potent and experienced wide out. With a sudden change of events, Hendrix took the ball and quite literally ran with it. The season was a blow away show of form for this talented player, who showed that anyone can have a break out season. Hendrix posted a massive 1198 yards, placing him at fifth in the league, but his most impressive feat was his league leading nine touchdowns, courtesy of star quarterback Logan Noble. The two worked together and tossed the ball into big openings in the back field where Hendrix specialized at getting the last few yards and locking in the six points.

15. (S1) OL - Angus Winchester || -13 - OCO @timeconsumer
Average Grade: 30.3 || Highest Rank: 18 || Lowest Rank: 48
Previous Rank: 2 || Weight Grade: 23.225

Here is the most talked about player of season one and league MVP as voted by his peers, Angus Winchester of the Orange County Otters. In a league with dramatic pressure on offensive lineman to be huge and succeed, Winchester did just that last year and looked to continue this season. Most people assume that his fall from grace shouldn't be attributed to skill but rather to the pressure on him to succeed and the lack of a dominant supporting cast. Winchester was still a very strong player, only allowing three sacks after giving up none last season, and has proved time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with on the line. Alongside his sacks allowed, Winchester stole 52 pancakes and forced fear into the hearts of his opponents. This hulking beast will be back and hungrier than ever for S3.

14. (S1) RB - Reg Mackworthy || New Entry - ARI @Esa77
Average Grade: 7.6 || Highest Rank: 5 || Lowest Rank: 16
Previous Rank: 70 || Weight Grade: 23.2

Coming into the home stretch we have the immensely talented running back and star offensive player of the champion Arizona Outlaws, Reg Mackworthy. Mackworthy was a player who struck a chord this season and had a case of homecoming as he went from a middle of the pack running back straight to the very top. With his ability to dart around unsuspecting defenders and his powerful upper body, Mackworthy was an instant threat and massive piece of the puzzle that allowed the Outlaws to win a second straight Ultimus. His regular season performance was amazing as he posted 1089 yards, falling second only to Farlane, and 7 touchdowns for the Outlaws. Should he continue his upwards trend to the top, Mackworthy will be a player every team will hate but wish they had on their team in no time.

13. (S1) S - Isaiah Rashad || -8 - ARI @Destroyer
Average Grade: 24.9 || Highest Rank: 11 || Lowest Rank: 37
Previous Rank: 5 || Weight Grade: 19.925

Last season's defensive player of the year and star safety of the Arizona Outlaws, Isaiah Rashad didn't stop for one second as he blew himself out of the water early on in season two. Here we have a talented young secondary who has all the potential he needs to make it all the way and has experience at the top before. All he needs is a slight nudge from Outlaws management and an increase in training time and he'll be back to the very top in no time. Rashad was once again wonderful for the Outlaws this season, making a crazy 60 tackles, picking off 6 passes and defending 19 balls. This performance isn't quite what he had last year but it is still more than worthy of a spot on this list and a high one at that. With another year on the Outlaws roster soon being added to his belt, Rashad looks to become a certainly legendary player.

12. (S2) OL - Tim Pest || New Entry - ARI @`TimPest`
Average Grade: 9.2 || Highest Rank: 3 || Lowest Rank: 17
Previous Rank: N/A || Weight Grade: 19.65

Tim Pest was the biggest season two draftee heading into the year, and after declaring he would only play for the Outlaws, his wish came true and it seems he made his choice for a good reason. Now that the Outlaws have a player like Pest defending Bronko and giving him time to find targets like Evans and Jackson, they will only continue to dominate as Pest progresses into the absolute monster we all want to see him become. This youngster easily had the biggest impact of any draftee this season, showing that even a new member of the league can make waves. Pest finished third in pancakes with 60 and pulled an Angus Winchester, allowing 0 sacks through out the whole season. This dominant showing is exactly what you want to see from a player, and especially your first round pick in a draft that will likely go down as one of the deepest ever.

11. (S1) S - Ryan Flock || +25 - ARI @theFlock
Average Grade: 12.1 || Highest Rank: 5 || Lowest Rank: 26
Previous Rank: 36 || Weight Grade: 18.075

The Outlaws finish off the Top 20 with four players in a row here as Ryan Flock joins secondary team mates Isaiah Rashad and Jason Williams for the second season in a row. Flock is a knock out secondary player, and was a huge part of the Arizona Outlaws defense that pushed them back into the Ultimus. Between himself, Rashad, and Williams the Outlaws have the makings of a dynasty in the back field and these three players are prepared for the long haul. Flock was a strong player all season long, whether he was matching up against speed or agility he always managed to stifle the progress of opposing players. Flock posted 62 tackles, 6 sacks, and 9 passes defended on the season in what was one of the strongest performances of any defensive back to date.

Did you not see my amazing receiving stats tho?
