The Otters have told our s3 waiver prospects that while we love and appreciate loyalty as well as the great times we had in s2 we encourage them in the competitive spirit of the game to try and maximize their draft potential.

You have some really personable guys and foster a kind of family mentality. I don't think you were encouraging it, but I do think that rookies are more likely to want to stay in OC because of your culture. This is two seasons in a row that Yellowknife has produced the #1 pick, but we foster more of a "go forth and kick ass" vibe. Our rookies wanna come back, but what they care about most is competing.

Downside to me being a banker now is that I have a ton of free time so the graders can't use the "this low payout makes bankers mad" excuse anymore.

Most of those articles are just PSA sort of things. Not really a need to pay them.
