*Draft Primer 2: RB/FB - kcheng686 - 09-02-2017 Draft Primer Part 1: QBs Note: Quavo Gordon has retired to be a musician. With S3 starting soon, and the S3 draft coming up fast, lets look at the RBs in the s3 draft. Overall: This is a very poor RB class. Just 3 draftable RBs total. Runningback/Fullback ---------------------------- Tier 1 - Franchise RB 1. Jaxon Tuck Style : PowerBack Size : 6'4'' 260 lb Scouting report: a real bruiser, he hits like a truck and runs fast. He is also deceptively agile, and possesses decent hands, making him a serviceable two threat RB. However, his run blocking is poor, and he is not THAT agile yet. Pro Comparison: Brandon Jacobs Projected: Round 1 --------------- Tier 2 - Serviceable starters 2. Erlich Burnsman Style: Speed Back Size: 6'2 220 lb Scouting report: Dont be fool by his size. This dude is FAST for a prospect, and even for an RB in general. However, he has weaknesses everywhere else, include his hands, strength, and blocking. Pro Comparison: A worse Tevin Coleman Projected: Late Round ------------- Tier 3 - Longshot/Inactive 3. Jovan Grujicic Style: All-Purpose Back (Eg. Matt Forte, Le'Veon Bell) Size: 5'11'' 225 lb Scouting report: Agile and quick, this player can and will gain yards if you dont watch him. However, he isnt very strong, and his hands are mediocre. His blocking is also atrocious. This player should not be your primary RB. However, as a second RB in 2 2 and 2 1sets, he can be a dangerous player, if he starts being active. Else, this guy is headed to the DSFL. --------- Overall: 1. Jaxon Tuck 2. Erlich Burnsman 3. Jovan Grujicic If you are looking for a franchise RB or a strong #2, I suggest you get Tuck or take a mulligan. Prospects in top 20 Big Board. Tuck GRADED |
