*If I were Outlaws GM... - Bayley - 09-04-2017 [div align=\\\"center\\\"]If I were the Outlaws GM, I would do whatever has been done for the past 2 seasons as they are back to back Champions. It is hard to say what I would do, but here it goes! Trade #1 Pick If I were the Outlaws, I would be shopping the top pick to move into the 2-4 range. I mean, Brice Boggs is the consensus top pick, but you don't really need him. I would be looking to move back to 2-4 and get another pick. I think the Wraiths are an option for that as they sit with #3 and #9, 13. I mean, that may just be the reason to move back two picks. I would also see what San Jose has, but I really am not too sure what they would be willing to move with the #2. If you could get #2 and #5, that would be a done deal, but I am not sure that is possible. Maybe #1, #10 for #2, #5. That may be interesting for both teams. San Jose would get a stud in Boggs and Outlaws would only move down 1 pick and pick up another top 5. I think San Jose gets a ton of quality. Will it happen, again I doubt it, but hey, it would surely be interesting. Trade Isaiah Rashad What are you using this guy for? Ryan Flock, Allen Davis, Jason Williams fill out some of your secondary, so why is this guy necessary? You can easily trade him for a OL that would be a little more beneficial. I mean, you have this area sold with your LB and these guys, move Rashad for OL and be happy with it. I am not sure what you'd get from him, but it would absolutely be worth looking at. Trade #16 Pick You're sending this pick down to the developmental league, so why not see if you can move up or move it for a piece that you can use. There are 16 active people in the draft, so you should be able to get a piece of value. I mean, you could absolutely get a steal here that you may not see until next season or the season after. You need to make the trade and solidify yourself. With other teams getting better, it is time for the Outlaws to up the ante and keep getting better. They have a fantastic team, by moving this for an upgrade, you have to keep moving. Philly is looking to get even with you. It is time to keep upgrading. Pick at #8, go for OL There are going to be guys available for them at #8 to take and bolster their team. I would look at Rico Rodriguez or Fancois Lamoreaux specifically. I think there are definitely other options, but these two are guys I like the most. I think these two could come in and help immediately which is the goal of this team. A team to go back to back to back would be awesome, so getting this guy to improve the team has to be a priority. Focus on the #1 and moving that, but take this guy first. Keep all of the other pieces, build depth This is going to be a game of depth. As the seasons move on, it will be about the top of the market as well as the depth. With the increased playcalling as well, you will need to be deep in a lot of areas. Build that depth by drafting and trading. That should definitely put this team in an awesome spot moving forward. It is tough to find anything more, but this would be my overall goal. Resign Players You will need to focus on resigning players and keeping under the salary cap. I think this is going to be the biggest challenge as people come into the last year of their contracts. Seeing what AC Hackett got, it is going to be incredibly hard to pay all of these guys and stay under the cap. You will have to do some crazy maneuvering in order to make this work. I think this could cause huge issues for this team. We will see what happens very shortly. This was probably the hardest one to do. *If I were Outlaws GM... - youngcricket - 09-04-2017 what should they do with Jaylon Lee *If I were Outlaws GM... - ADwyer87 - 09-04-2017 good article, I agree with a lot. However, with the last one, we've already re-signed most of our guys to team friendly deals, so that shouldn't be an issue *If I were Outlaws GM... - adam2552 - 09-04-2017 (09-05-2017, 12:18 AM)youngcricket Wrote:what should they do with Jaylon Lee Cut him, he's overrated. *If I were Outlaws GM... - kcheng686 - 09-04-2017 I dont see them trading Rashad for OL AND using pick 8 on OL *If I were Outlaws GM... - youngcricket - 09-04-2017 (09-04-2017, 10:19 PM)adam2552 Wrote:Cut him, he's overrated.sim with any other LB at my spot and look at the results *If I were Outlaws GM... - adam2552 - 09-04-2017 (09-05-2017, 12:28 AM)youngcricket Wrote:sim with any other LB at my spot and look at the results I tired it with a bot who had 50s across the board..You're not going to believe this (and you shouldn't believe this) but he outperformed you in every way. 150 tackles / 8 TFLs / 4 FF / 5 INTs..Maybe you're just a product of the system... *If I were Outlaws GM... - RedCydranth - 09-05-2017 I don't see the incentive for the Sabercats to trade up to #1. If they want Boggs, they can get him at #2, since you claim it's apparent that the Outlaws don't need him. If they force them to stay at 1, that makes the Outlaws get King or Sandoval at DT, leaving Boggs at 2 for them and they get to keep that later pick in the 1st round. |
