The first reactions from NSFL fans happen to be quite interesting. A few people have spoken out against 2K Sports, saying:

"These ratings are quite ridiculous. I'm only buying this because it's the only one in the market!"

Others were more positive, saying:

"The game looks great, the sim engine looks great, the ratings are great, it's amazing! 10/10."

The hype took over the nation, as the demo version, which only featured two teams, the Arizona Outlaws and the Yellowknife Wraiths, was downloaded more than 10 million times. It's an incredible number!

The game will cost $39.99 on launch day, 33% off from its normal price to get players into the game and build up the hype. More than 3 million preorders have been purchased, with many people waiting outside of NSFL gear retailers ahead of the game.

We talked to Yeti player Brice Boggs about what player he likes to use and what team he likes to use in NSFL 2K03.

"Well, of course, I definitely use the Yeti a lot, and I love running with Boss Tweed. Dude has 99 speed and absolutely FLIES in the open field. My second favorite team to use would probably be the Yellowknife Wraiths, since they have so many offensive weapons. It's like a little kid on Christmas, if you know what I mean. I'm so excited about this game!"
