*ELO Rating - season 3 - week 1 - JuOSu - 09-19-2017 Here is an update for the ELO ratings. In week 1, the ELO rating predicted all four games correctly. All four games were won by the home teams. It especially nailed the Baltimore Yellowknife game, where it predicted Baltimore to win by 4.16 points - they won by 4 points. Here is the new ranking after week 1: Arizona Outlaws - 1649 (+7) Orange County Otters - 1545 (+16) Colorado Yeti - 1526 (+5) Baltimore Hawks - 1499 (+11) +1 rank Yellowknife Wraiths - 1493 (-11) -1 rank Philadelphia Liberty - 1405 (-16) San Jose Sabercats - 1390 (-7) Las Vegas Legion - 1357 (-5) For week 2 that means: 1649 Arizona Outlaws - 1405 Philadelphia Liberty 1499 Baltimore Hawks - 1357 Las Vegas Legion 1493 Yellowknife Wraiths - 1390 San Jose Sabercats 1526 Colorado Yeti - 1545 Orange County Otters Win percentages are: Arizona 67% Baltimore 53% San Jose 52% Orange County 69% We have the rare - two time away game favorites. Arizona a staggering 67% favorite on the road blows my mind. With the two very close games though it will be interesting to see where it goes. Of course. The spreads will always be based on the updated ELO ratings. I will always put up the spreads first since it is a point task. The article can wait. But yes, these are the numbers used for the spread. *ELO Rating - season 3 - week 1 - ADwyer87 - 09-19-2017 Psh, if you think 67% is a staggering number, just u wait |
