Bzerkap/TLK Conflict of interest - AsylumParty - 09-27-2017
It was brought to the attention of the head office that @Bzerkap attempted to recruit @tlk742 as the Co-GM of the wraiths.
We do consider this to be tampering, as the user and player cannot be reasonably disconnected.
Tlk both entertained and agreed to the premise that he play an important role for two teams, thus creating the conflict of interest referenced above.
We believe we have determined proportionate punishments fitting of the infractions.
Darren Smallwood will face a 2 game suspension, and Tlk a ban on taking any GM position through s6.
Mat Akselsen will also face a 2 game suspension, however, his team will be impacted as well, due to the intention of them benefitting from this initially.
A 2nd round S4 draft pick (higher of the two) is forfeit, and a 5m cap penalty will be paid out in S4, as well as S5.

How would that have worked though? Tlk just gets traded again? Or they communicate despite being on different teams?

I am not understanding the conflict of interest. It is my understanding that a trade was offered specifically for Smallwood in conjunction with his candidacy for GM, and that once that trade was refused the idea of him being co-GM was scrapped. There were no plans for Smallwood to be GM of a team he was not on.
