In light of recent events, I have prepared a statement for the league.
First things first, I fucked up. I talked to @tlk742 without talking to @ckroyal92 or @Muford first. It was a brain fart, I wasn't thinking about it, but not an excuse. I'm really sorry about it all.
Just a quick recap from my perspective of the situation, as there are always three sides, one side, the other side, and the truth. Hopefully, this will help people understand.
Smallwood made a joke about being my GM in discord a while back, I had an opening and thought well I guess I'll ask since I was already talking to people, on my own team, about it. We went back and forth with interview questions, the thought of the "behind the scenes GM" came up. So, I humored it to try and understand what it meant. After reviewing all of my candidates I decided to see if I could acquire Smallwood via trade with ckroyal. He told me that Smallwood was not for sale, so I gave up on pursuing him. I knew how important he was to the SabreCats and I didn't want to dick them over with a forced trade or something like that. That's when I went and hired @Archon as my Co-GM and I never thought about it again.
Well, it came back to bite me in the ass and in the process I hurt myself and my team.
I want to apologize to ckroyal, muford and the rest of the SabreCats. I never intended to hurt your team in any way, and unfortunately I did.
I would also like to apologize to all the Wraiths. My stupidity and ignorance cost our team for a couple of seasons, and I hope that my future actions will mitigate that.
Lesson learned: Think before you do something. Don't be an idiot.

Unfathomable that this league lacks rules that prevent people from profiting from their crimes. I request that the payout for this piece be directed to a more worthy cause, namely my bank account.
Also this "scandal" never would have happened if not for the Hawks cheating with Carmel Gibson. Fite me.

I dont understand you 2 agreed on him being your co gm, but then his gms didnt want to trade him so you thought about him being the co gm while on the sabercata, before deciding on archon?

Money going to Archon's bank account is equivalent to throwing money into sewer.
It should be going to a worthy cause like the Samuel Zhang Mo Money Foundation.

So I decided that if I could trade for Smallwood he would become GM. He wasn't for sale and I figured the price would be too steep anyway so I just went with Archon who was the best choice really.
The behind the scenes thing was something that had come up but neither of us moved forward on that and I don't think we ever would. It was mostly just talk

It's in announcements. Basically Akselsen and Smallwood are suspended for 2 games, Wraiths give up a S4 second round pick, and 5 million in cap room is taken from the Wraiths in S4 + 5
