Deadline Saturday, Oct 7th, 11:59 PM PST (S3) - PT #4 - Best at what they do - cosbornballboy - 10-02-2017 The player who is the best in the league at making shitty media pieces that have an element of fun and novelty to them but aren't really beneficial to the league as a whole is Ricardo Sandoval. He has written media pieces such as one where he detailed that he would be kneeling for the national anthem, which was basically just a cry for attention from the rest of the league. Most of the other media pieces he has done have been interviews because anytime he sits down to actually write a solid media piece about something hard hitting or important, it's really good, but then he stops writing because he loses interest in it even though he's already halfway through writing it, and it could really be pretty good. Long story short, he's kind of an attention seeking idiot, and he should never be employed as a GM or signed to more than a minimum contract because he is just absolute trash. Now don't even get me started on the fact that he started doing podcasts, which are essentially just him spouting his stream of consciousness into a mic for an hour, or that he does pressers, which is essentially like the interview thing I was saying before. And he also tried to brag about a phenomenal game he had, like who does that? Nobody should, cause it's wrong. (S3) - PT #4 - Best at what they do - Silver Fox - 10-02-2017 No question about it, Lincoln Jefferson is the best at what he does. Must be from all his receiving days, but he sure knows how to catch the ball. Any pass that gets near him is at risk – he puts up interceptions like every QB is Bercovici. Opposing QBs better watch out – you might as well just consider that receiver off limits for the day, because only sadness will ensue if you think you can outsmart the man channeling the power of two presidents. The no fly zone has been known to encompass even legends like Josh Garden! If, by some miracle, a pass does make it past him and manage to be caught, he’s also the most reliable at chasing down that poor receiver and splattering him into the ground. Not like some lightweight CB, being dragged down the field for 20 yards – ohh no, Jefferson grabs hold and introduces whoever it is to the turf, no questions asked. It’s easy for him to do – after all, he’s still one of the fastest guys in the league, even doing so on running blades since his car accident. Disabled athletes around the world look up to him as the most handi-capable of all! Stormblessed is known as a receiver in the NSFL but for some of the worst reasons out there. Stormblessed is the best at being overrated. The third year wideout has simply not attended practice for a while and while he slammed other members in the league for their inability to keep going, he has turned into a huge disappointment. The beauty of this crow that he is served daily by other receivers is that it's a dish served best cold. At one time Stormblessed was thought of as a threat in many offences and those days are long gone. The guy has some decent speed but his lack of hands has led to him leading the league in talking the talk but not walking the walk. The sad part about this player is that being the leagues most overrated player is news to him, if he ever receives the news. He ducked out on his teammates on the Legion and thus they may not be too happy with his lack of effort as well. General Managers are going to stay clear of him when his contract runs up so they don't have to deal with his antics. (S3) - PT #4 - Best at what they do - RedCydranth - 10-02-2017 The French are known for being big obnoxious fuckwads who overstep their boundaries and shove their opinions down your throat like a twink's dick in a gay porno. Nobody is better than doing exactly that than our resident French elitist asshole, Archon. Francois Lemoreux is a class act douchebag and there is no person on the forums who even comes close to stirring up shit as much as this crepe smoking cocksucker. But, in true French fashion, he's the first to cause some contrived nonsense bullshit, bringing up the past but more often than not, has no reason to be involved it the conflicts at hand. Others try to be as obnoxious and unpleasant as Archon, but they will always fall short. Archon always finds new ways to raise the bar on being a huge throbbing cock, which I have good reason to think is his favorite thing. Whether it is creating a controversy out of thin air or it's jumping on the bandwagon and blowing it up like Wile E. Coyote with some dynamite this Baguette eating motherfucker is heads and tails the best at stirring shit up on the forums. The sad thing is, I don't think he even has to try to be a raging cumdumpster. It just comes second nature to this French bastard. No matter the situation, Burnsman seems to have a knack for finding his way to paydirt when given the opportunity. At 8 Rushing TDs so far in season 3, Burnsman leads all backs, a full 3 touchdowns ahead of the next highest scorer. He is the best scoring back in football today. . Additionally, Burnsman leads all backs in yards per attempt (min. 20 attempts) at 3.6. Even with a very low 101 attempts, Burnsman paces all RBs in points. Helped immensely by fantastic qb play from Boss, Bursman reaches pay dirt once every 13 attempts. Will this pace continue for the rest of the season? Unlikely, though he has a good chance to end the season as the top scoring back. Burnsman is also in a very good position to set the new league record for most rushing touchdowns in a season, currently held by O. Wright with 9TDs. Burnsman needs one more score to tie that record and just 2 more scores to break it. Simply a roleplayer for the Otters, Burnsman is no workhorse. He is a simply a fast back in a great offense who has been set up for success with excellent play calling, but those factors all combine to make him the best scoring back in NSFL. (220 words) (S3) - PT #4 - Best at what they do - PigSnout - 10-03-2017 As a running back, Boss Tweed excels at something simple: running. While Tweed succeeds at traditional running back skills, such as making good reads or juking out defenders, any running back could learn those skills. What really makes Tweed a special player is his speed. Boss Tweed is faster than any other player in the league. Every move he makes as a runner is amplified in its impact when none of the defenders can catch up to him. Tweed has spent the last couple seasons focusing mainly on training his speed and it has paid off as he can now leave most of the league's defenders in the dust when he takes off running. Although the Yeti are not known for the strength of their offensive line, Tweed has still been able to succeed as a runner because his natural speed allows him to burst past the line quickly so the offensive line only needs to hold their blocks for a short time. Last season, Tweed's 3.7 yards per carry was the highest among starting running backs which came in large part from his speed allowing him to make consistent gains on the ground. While Tweed's speed does not look like it will be able to increase any further, his current speed will still allow him to be a successful player for a long time to come. Quote:227 Words (S3) - PT #4 - Best at what they do - BOOM™ - 10-03-2017 Today I am here to talk about one of the more loathed individuals in the NSFL. I, J.D. Boom am the best at alienating people and galvanizing opinions from the start of my playing career. Once a highly(well, decent) touted prospect, destined to be a possible top 2 round draft selection, I fell all the way to the fourth round due to a miscommunication with the NSFL's GM's, an error that I did not correct before the draft took place. This meant that when the draft took place, 99% of the GM's believed that I was going to be an inactive scrub or at the very least, a risky selection for their franchise and subsequently avoided selecting me. The Otters didn't get the memo however, and noticed that I had done every available practice hour and scooped me up in the fourth round. Since then, I've been abused in discord, labelled a snake and ignored in Twitch streams. It seems it takes a while for some to overcome the perceived slight on themselves and it's entirely possible that my already sliding reputation has taken an irreparable hit that cannot be repaired. So yes, I like to think of myself as the guy who is the best at entering a new league with a modest draft worth...and leaving it with a fraction of my original value. (S3) - PT #4 - Best at what they do - MacTonight - 10-03-2017 Sacking the quarterback changes the tempo of the game, and when I think about sacking the quarterback, I think of Jayce Tuck. The man is a beast, it doesn’t matter who he lines up against, on the edge or inside, Tuck has a habit of beating his man and ending the play hitting his opposition quarterback. The Season 2 MVP has an impressive set of tools at his disposal, and the fact remains that the MVP of the previous season has racked up 23 sacks in 9 games, this level of consistency is incredible, and it’s a testament to just how great Tuck is. As part of the best front 7 in the league Tuck does have a leg up on some of his competition, but once again I have to go back to the consistency of Tuck’s play. Leading the league in sacks three years running, with 16 sacks through 14 games in season 1, 23 sacks in season 2, and 23 sacks through 9 games in season 3. Word’s do not do Tuck any justice, if he continues this run of form and output he will be the consensus Greatest of All Time. I don’t think anyone can argue with that. |
