*D-Line Standouts: Week 11 - manicmav36 - 10-09-2017 Defensive Line Standouts - Week 11 Welcome to week 11 of our Season 3 Defensive Line Standouts! Life got in the way a bit this weekend so I’ll be doing the list only, without analysis (except for the steam standings). I hope to back to normal by week 13/14 and our end of the season review. Defensive End Top Performers B. Blade ![]() R. Maddox ![]() D. Dam ![]() Other Great Performers J. Boom ![]() J. Tuck ![]() A. de Ligt ![]() Defensive Tackle Top Performers K. Hendrix ![]() D. Cox ![]() Team Appearances After Week 11* Baltimore: 23 - 2 San Jose: 20 - 2 Arizona: 19 - 3 Orange County: 17 - 2 Las Vegas: 17 - 2 Yellowknife: 14 - 1 Philadelphia: 11 - 0 Colorado: 10 - 0 There are zero changes in the standings this week as the top five teams all had at least two players make out list. Colorado and Philadelphia continue to hold down the bottom and both dug themselves in a tad deeper with neither team having a player appear on our list this week. This is Philadelphia’s second week in a row without a player on our list. Dan Miller, of the San Jose SaberCats, continues his ridiculous streak at eleven appearances in eleven weeks. *Just a reminder, this ranking is not necessarily indicative of how well a team’s defense is operating as a whole. For example, Arizona leads the league in sacks by 18 but, is currently third on our list in number of individual appearances. GRADED *D-Line Standouts: Week 11 - 7hawk77 - 10-09-2017 Great work as always. Insane week for Kurt Hendrix and Blaster Blade. Does he usually line up in the interior as a DE? One thing I just thought about is 4-3-4 defenses definitely get an advantage on representation vs teams using 3-4-4. *D-Line Standouts: Week 11 - cosbornballboy - 10-09-2017 @7hawk77 How do I become as great as you? *D-Line Standouts: Week 11 - manicmav36 - 10-09-2017 (10-09-2017, 03:16 PM)7hawk77 Wrote:Great work as always. Hendrix has been for about half the season, yeah. As far as the team standings, I've thought about implementing one for 3-4, one for 4-3, and a combined one. The problem is, with teams changing schemes between and during seasons, without access to what schemes team are using, it's pretty much impossible to accurately represent. It’s already tricky enough with all of the players playing out of position or switching where they line up week to week. *D-Line Standouts: Week 11 - 7hawk77 - 10-09-2017 (10-09-2017, 02:34 PM)cosbornballboy Wrote:@7hawk77 How do I become as great as you? Here is what I've learned so far: Strength and speed are very useful. You probably want to max out speed first regardless since it has such a low cap. As far as what you want to do, if you want the most tackles the priority is: Strength > Speed > Tackling If you want the most tackle for loss you prioritize: Speed > Agility > Tackling Forced Fumble seems to be kind of a jumbled mess, but mostly Strength > Agility and then some tackling, endurance, intelligence and speed And Sacks Strength > Speed > Agility. I will note that using breakpoints is probably super useful. During Season 2, I tried to just max out my strength meanwhile my tackling and agility were still below 70 and my performance was mediocre. So if you are raising an attribute, swap over to something else if you hit like 80 or 90 because even if strength is better for you, spending 15 TPE for 1 strength might not be as effective as spending that TPE on something like tackling or agility. *D-Line Standouts: Week 11 - cosbornballboy - 10-10-2017 (10-09-2017, 12:45 PM)7hawk77 Wrote:Here is what I've learned so far: That was a rhetorical question, but you, my friend, are a generous person. Also if you want to take your player to the next next level, you should try being the coolest kid in Saskatoon. *D-Line Standouts: Week 11 - manicmav36 - 10-10-2017 (10-10-2017, 02:31 PM)7hawk77 Wrote:Also if you want to take your player to the next next level, you should try being the coolest kid in Saskatoon.  |
