Official Chicago Blues Announcement - Jiggly_333 - 11-08-2017
Sometimes things happen and you need to take a step back and re-evaluate things. While this may seem like a simple reaction to what happened in the Thunderdome, this as been rolling around in my mind for a while (or at least before I posted in the TD). This Chicago Blues team, though in its infancy, has seen some shit. Our original Co-GM moved on to the Sabercats, leaving the team with only two, maybe three actives. Then we ended up becoming the luckiest team in simulation football, ending our season with the best record. But once again, we had a very low activity rate. Something needs to change and soon. I blame myself for a lot of the issues, but when things need to get done, things need to get done. Marlene Aurlane was a GM much like me, and that might be why we failed. Two people being so alike in the way they work, especially with the specific way that we worked, it can lead to a bad place. A change was needed, so a change has been made. I have nothing but kind words for Marlene (RedCydranth), but she had to go.

On the lighter side of this situation
There is no need for a Co-GM search or any applications to be sent in. We have already found a new Co-GM who will be joining us. Unlike me, whose preferred method is to let the problem come to them and deal with it then, this man is a bundle of energy when it comes to his excitement for getting out there and doing things. We hope that this change can mark a new era in this franchise's history and hope that what is to come is more success like the previous season! But this time, the success will be earned.
