NSFL SEASON 3: OUR TOP 50 PLAYERS

Hello and welcome to NSFL Season 3: Our Top 50 Players sponsored by the NSFLN. The list is simple. Four experts submitted lists to be incorporated into our final rankings and they have all been weighted equally. First, here are the experts:

@AsylumParty filled out his ranks with a slight Outlaws bias. His list features explosive playmakers who show up big on the stat sheet.

124715 filled out his ranks with a slight Liberty bias. His list showcases some of the dark horses of the league, while still paying respects to the electric players across the league.

@kckolbe filled out his ranks with a slight Wraiths bias. His list features the underrated players of the league, and heavily takes into account team situations and environment. His #1 will shock you.

@iamslm22 filled out his ranks with a slight Hawks bias. He showcased terrifying defensive players high in his list.

This list will take you through the magic of Season 3. From Jayce Tuck, arguably the greatest player in league history, to the lesser known stars in the 40s. It will take you through the season, from Week 1 to the hoisting of the Ultimus trophy in Arizona. Lastly, it will help you appreciate all of the great players in this league.

NSFL Season 3: Our Top 50 Players - 124715 - 11-29-2017

#55: S1 DE Kurt Hendrix BAL || Average Rank: 49.25 || Highest Rank: 32 || Lowest Rank: N/R || @HENDRIX

Rank Change from S2: -23 from 32
Despite slipping down the list since S2, Hendrix was electric on the field in Season 3. He racked up a whopping 12 sacks in a powerful front seven. He anchored the Hawks defense with 45 tackles, and embarrassed offensive lineman with a full six run stops behind the line. Hendrix is a powerful playmaker who won't miss this list easily.

#54: S2 RB Darlane Farlane BAL || Average Rank: 49 || Highest Rank: 31 || Lowest Rank: N/R || @Gwdaja

Rank Change from S2: -35 from 19
After the first defensive player on the list, we come to the first offensive player on the list, also from the Hawks. Farlane, recently traded to the Yeti, was coming off a OROY season where he led the league in rushing. He didn't blow anyone out of the water in S3, but he was a reliable contributor on the explosive offense that allowed the Hawks to cakewalk through the playoffs, racking up 1114 yards on 360 carries. Farlane on his new team will likely have a different role behind Boss Tweed, but it will be exciting to see this talented RB in different scenery.

#53: S1 LB Tyler Varga LVL || Average Rank: 48.75 || Highest Rank: 30 || Lowest Rank: N/R || @RavensFanFromOntario

Rank Change from S2: -7 from 46
Varga positively flew around the field in Season 3. He was there when called upon to stop the run, notching a whopping 113 tackles, good for fourth among LBs. He was there when called upon to make plays, notching a respectable 4 tackles for a loss. He was there when called upon to disrupt the opponent's momentum, bringing down the QB three times on certain blitz packages. He was there when called upon to drop into coverage, breaking up passes a full seven times by leveraging his superior physical frame over WRs and RBs. He was there when called upon to get the ball, leaping up and recording a pick. Now retired, it's a shame we won't get to see more of Varga.

#52: S2 RB Ardie Savea LVL || Average Rank: 48 || Highest Rank: 33 || Lowest Rank: N/R || @Ben

Rank Change from S2: N/A from not ranked
Ardie Savea positively carried (pun intended) the Legion offense last year, and has done the same this year in a ground-and-pound culture. The young Legion back put up 968 yards on the ground on 311 carries, good for a respectable 3.1 YPC. He also made it into the endzone 7 times, accounting for 33% of his team's touchdowns. Savea also gave his team impressive flexibility with his ability to split out wide and catch the ball. Savea hauled in nearly 20 passes for all of 162 yards, for an 8.1 average.

#51: S2 DE Blaster Blade LVL || Average Rank: 47.75 || Highest Rank: 36 || Lowest Rank: N/R || @Blaster

Rank Change from S2: N/A from not ranked
Our third straight Legion player makes the list at #51, Blade was a monster in the Legion's strong front 7. He racked up 65 tackles, an already impressive number. However, he was a beast setting the edge, recording a formidable 15 TFL. For comparison, league MVP Jayce Tuck also had 15 TFL. Forget about stopping the run, Blade was a weapon against the pass as well. He recorded great success, using his athleticism to bring down the QB a full 13 times. Blade is a young player who we will see more of throughout the years in his new team, the Outlaws.

CONGRATS to all who made the list so far! You deserve it. As for everyone else, stay tuned for December 1st when players 41-50 are released.
