Requirements
Written: Must Include 150 Words. It's been a frustrating time for the NSFL, and like many I'm sure there are some things we need to get off our chests. Write about anything that has happened in the NSFL, doesn't matter when, just write about it and why it frustrated you.

First, let's start with the Sim itself. What a random piece of shit. I get that's really all we have but damn. We may better off just rolling dice every play and seeing what happens a la Dungeons and Dragons style.
While i'm on the Sim topic, why is the burden of every player, depth chart, and strategic game plan placed on a single person? Sorry Dermot. You've obviously did something when you were younger and now karma is killing you.
What about this past off season? Not the drama and typical bulllshit. Just the sheer length of time it took. We need to get a set schedule down and adhere to it so everyone knows what is goin on.
Last, this can’t be complete without mentioning Turk Turkleton’s extra point percentage. Damn kicker man has like 600 TPE and can’t get the ball through the uprights on what may be the most automatic play in football. Just kidding, there is nothing but love for the original Outlaw Killer.

I have not been in this webiste or league for so long but I already found an issue. And it needs to get off my chest but now it is fixed but who knows it may happen again in the future. And that is the sims and index. Sure the index looks good but the delay. I was so excited and ready for preseason but guess, it is delayed by 2 days and in all year I have been in sim leagues, this has not happened before and even for preseason. So hopefully that does not happen again. But it happened for DSFL and NSFL. I do not know what it is with the index but heard they've been working their ass of on it and I understand that could have done it way before it during the offseason. And if you did and it was bad, find a better sim engine.

For Elvin Enchant, it has certainly been the very slow pace of games for sure. Not getting onto the field for pre-season already, and that all his work isn't getting put into anything yet, is bumming him out. He really just wants to get the season under way already so he can really prove his worth in this league against the rest of his draft class. Granted, it's technically working in his favor considering it's just allowing him to get in more practice time. However, he doesn't quite seem feel that way. In fact, he's been wanting to get on the field ever since the Luchadores called him in the first round, and now that his first game is being delayed, he's getting somewhat impatient. He understands fully that it's simply for the benefit of the league and making sure all your I's are dotted and T's are crossed and all that but... He just wants to *hit* someone already.

So you know what really fucking pisses me the fuckin shit off? My players fuckin shitty ass extra point kicking. You got this motherfucking 600> TPE playing like he's made of fuckin jello. Max kicking power? Check. Max kicking accuracy? Check. Max intelicence? Check. Yet this man can't hit a fuckin extra point to save his life.
You got smart boy, accurate boy and power boy. All put into one person and yet my 2 year old son could record a better kicking percentage than this man.
Now you might say, well Raven you see the sim is random and it's just a game. Yeah well good jokes mate real funny SEE YOU AT FUCK YOU. Think this is just a game dont ya? This is real life simulated football mate. I take my football very cereal kiddo.

As a new member I think the confusion around when things are actually gonna start is probably the only grievance I can think of and even then it's not that much of a grievance. I understand that things change schedule wise but there hasn't really been anything said about what's going to happen and when you're waiting for your first games in the league, that's a little frustrating. However, I also totally understand how things work and there's a lot that needs to be put together in a league to ensure that things run smoothly. So, in that regard I'm fine with things being a little slow, and don't mind the simmers taking the time they need to get things set up but I think a little communication about how things are going and when we can realistically expect to get a sim would be really nice to have. Other than that everything is swell, enjoying my time here and looking to see how the player I've built gets on in his rookie season.

The problem that I have with the NSFL is the lack of communication. There is a ton of stuff going on at any given time that it would be possible to miss certain things. But when you are sitting around waiting for a game to happen that doesn’t happen only to find out hours or days later that there is a delay. That rubs me the wrong way. I don’t blame anyone in particular, I think that there is still a learning curve associated with the abrupt transition of the Head Office, Simmers, and more. There was a huge overhaul of the people in charge (which needed to happen) but I think the best way to accomplish a successful and fun league with active players is to set a line of communication. Several attempts have been made by head office members to ask what we want/need from them to feel confident in them and I still feel in the dark. Things happen, this is just a game. But please have the decency to let the people who play this game and enjoy it aware of problems and the solutions we have to correct the issues moving forward. Nothing like being excited all day for a playoff game to just have nothing happen and find out in discord. (Not everyone uses discord)

161 wordsBack when I was on the Legion, I expected to struggle out of the gates as it was a brand-new franchise and had to go through growing pains. This was back in Season 2. Fast forward to Season 4, we acquired a lot of solid players and looked poised to finally improve and yet things stayed the same regardless of what happened. With the GMs both missing in action for various reasons there was no real direction for the final weeks of the season. As a team that was already down in the dumps through constant losing, it was a frustrating season as globally we seemed even worse than in Season 3 where a few of us had breakout performances on either side of the field. So, to slump back down and perform globally worse was both frustrating & demoralizing. Most of all it led to a bunch of people not caring anymore and ended with the now infamous mass retirement.

And this is where that skewed and one-sided point of view comes in, and someone pipes up and thinks it's someone else's fault, and the first thing they like to point at is the GM's of the NSFL team that the prospect is on, not knowing even 5% of what was going on, and all he heard was 'Tom fucked Los Angeles over and didn't want to play for Jerry, this is despicable of him'.
What you don't know about the situation is how I discussed with both Jerry AND Richard about Tom beforehand, let them know of this situation, and asked for their opinion about it, whether they wanted to keep him or fine with having us call him up. Personally, I was on the fence with this whole situation. I didn't like the fact that Tom wanted to get called up and ultimately fuck over Jerry, but at the same time, we want him to have the best experience in this league, and he's been having a pretty decent time in our locker room.
And then, not some twenty minutes later after receiving responses from BOTH GM's, Tom updates his player past the 350 TPE threshold, and basically forces my hand into a certain circumstance.
It was either release Tom, pay the penalty for releasing an active player for no good reason, and carry on with life, having our already small batch of prospects get even smaller and pretty much causing some kind of rift in one way, which would lead to this thunderdome turning into a thread about how stupid and how much of a rookie mistake it was for releasing an active for no reason, further tarnishing the reputation in Las Vegas, which I've been trying to rebuild since I got here.
OR, I could just release an inactive we weren't using in the first place, satisfy one of our prospects by calling him up, and let HIM deal with the situation he made himself. I think my decision was easy and most likely the right decision.
Again, your assumptions come from a couple of posts I made to make this whole thing happen, so I understand where you're coming from, but you're tooting your horn at the completely wrong place here. So, if you could kindly take your bullshit attitude, your bullshit Los Angeles Locker Room bias, as well as your conceit in believing that it was OUR fault doing this, and take that elsewhere, say the Los Angeles Locker Room to vent and everything, that would be greatly appreciated.
Well, that, or sticking your head out of your ass for a change. That'd be great, too.

Im tired of fuckers fucking saying oh you cant say you ahve 3 rings they have *s. You know what I didn't spend 3 fucking seasons excited because we were 3 time champs just for mother fuckers who havent even made the god damn playoffs tell me they dont count. We wouldve won those shits fair and square god damnit. Had leuchly tuck jaxon pest pancake and ronaldo not been made we wouldve drafted differnet players traded for different players and made shit happen. We still would've won and people would find a different reason to shit on us. Im also tired of waiting 5 years for something to come out. WHERE IS THE GOD DAMN DSFL INDEX DAMNIT.
