I'll be honest with you guys, I only need 16 words here. I feel like that wouldn't really be allowed, so I'll just go on for a bit and then stop when it kind of runs its course. Anyway, so I find it pretty annoying that my whole division is within half a game of each other. Seriously, 3 teams, 5-4-1, 5-4-1, and 5-5. That's not a thing that's supposed to be a thing. I'm hoping Tijuana gets in, but I'd have preferred not to have to sweat it. We don't have any games left against Kansas City, who are the worst team this year, but even they're not that bad (3-7, and in the other conference). Palm Beach has a game left against Kansas City so they're probably the favorites to get in, and otherwise it's basically whoever wins the two games between Tijuana and San Antonio. In an ideal world both the bot teams would miss and all the actives could get to experience the playoffs, but one bot team (Norfolk) is pretty much a lock and the other (Palm Beach) has a pretty good shot to get in.

191 words, which is much more than 16.

Making the bot teams have automatic loss against human teams provides no enjoyment for the players on the team (ie you know you're hitting the playoffs every season, why sweat it?) Nobody would also ever take a bot team GM role if they knew they'd never have a chance of winning anything (even if they've got bots). Each human team " should " get stronger every season dependent if people get sent down again whereas bots will never improve.

Unfortunately the bot teams were created with too much TPE to begin with and weren't competitive, but dominant throughout the season. I know my team struggled against NOR despite having a lot of actives and wasn't able to overcome the deficit until week 9.

Like many other teams, we had to depend on high TPE inactives to compete while our active players caught up to them. In addition, we didn't have the advantage of having well built bots like NOR and PB have so we have to rely on whatever high inactive or poorly built inactive players we could get since the alternative was a 30 TPE filler bot.

IDK why the plan to have 70 TPE bots went thru, not only is that roughly the average TPE of each DSFL player, but with also much better builds which can fit a system better.

I know! And now I'm wondering why people thought 70 TPE was too low. Oh well, we'll adjust next season. It's a learning process!

I'm not saying to give them automatic losses, I'm just saying it would be convenient if they just ended up being the bottom

Also, it gave me something to write about, and like I said I needed 16 words (conveniently, this reply is exactly 16 words before the parentheses)
