*TPE Outlawed: The Series (Part 1) - White Cornerback - 01-23-2018
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Heading into week 12 of the S5 NSFL season and the current playoff picture looks like this.

Another successful regular season looks to be coming to it's end... until NSFL commissioner bans the use of the performance enhancing drug, leaguewide known by its more common name as an acronym "TPE" effective immediately.
What does this mean for the future of the NSFL? The banning of essentially the most important import of the NSFL looks like it will not only allow NSFL players to experience injuries, but also regress based on their age, not their number of years in the NSFL.
Week 12
Week 12's fixtures claim two victims, Eric Kennedy of the Yellowknife Wraiths suffers a fractured hip which confusingly the sim engine doesn't list how many weeks he'll be out for, instead listing him as "probable???". The other injury is Levon Novel of the Yeti, a former Wraith who falls to a tight hamstring.
As of week 12 the standings look as such,

Week 13
A week before we enter the offseason and it's an absolute crapshoot of injuries. Kennedy and Novel are both listed as probable from last week still. Wraiths offensive lineman A.Rchon got patella tendinitis this week and is down as probable, Jackmerius Tacktheritrix suffers from a tight hamstring and is also probable.
Mayran Jackson, San Jose's hopes and dreams is listed as doubtful with a fractured nose. Michael Tillman, the Yeti strong safety will miss the final week of the season with blurred vision. Jogn Floggity of the Outlaws has a torn abdominal muscle and will miss up to 4 weeks for the Outlaws. In an odd twist of fate Nick Pierno suffers a complete MCL tear and will miss from 8-12 weeks. Are they Yeti just doomed?
Finally, Luke Washington for the Legion suffers a torn bicep muscle and will be sidelined for 3-4 months.

Week 14
Tacktheritrix, Novel, Rchon and Kennedy are all still injured. OCO RB Jordan Yates suffers a broken finger just heading into the playoffs but will soldier through, he's down as probable. Wraiths DE Blaster Blade dislocated his finger but is listed as probable for the playoffs. Legion Tackle Slightly Littlerbot dislocates his finger too but it's a bit meaningless because the season is over for them. Liberty Guard Chester Arthur suffers a broken nose at probable. Kendrick Hendrix the once fabled wide receiver hyper extends his knee for the dejected Yeti. Outlaws RB Omar Wright is struck down with a scratched cornea to end their season.
Arizona guard Bullroarer Took will finish his season with a bulging disc. Legendary Otters QB Zobot Jugsmachine is out with the rather pathetic excuse of "fatigue" despite the absurd fact that he's only played 1 game for OCO this season?? Mayran Jackson is still down as questionable with a fractured nose, Libert DE Eli Kamaka will watch the playoffs on the couch with a stiff neck. SS Ja Brill will be rooting his team from the sidelines with turf toe.
An absolute horror situation, Mike Boss is injured and down as doubtful with patella tendinitis and fans have already began protests outside of OCO HQ for their decision to play him with playoffs already clinched. Everybody else has already been named as injured or is not on a playoff team or both except for one name....
In an awful term of circumstances, Angus Winchester tears an abdominal muscle on the eve of the playoffs and ends his season.
*BONUS*
I bet you all want to see that OCO game where Boss and Winchester got injured, right? Folk's it's not pretty. Just 5 minutes into the 1st quarter, Mike Boss is sacked and injured by LB Micah Hendrix. Naturally OCO subs in NSFL cult legend Zobot Jugsmachine who immediately follows up with a 11 yard pass to westfield. An interception later, Yates gets hurt by AC "anything for a paycheque Hackett". What now? Now they can't reply on their runningback, regardless 4 minutes later Jugsmachine gets injured despite the log not saying he got hit or sacked, (probably got tired like it said before) Since Jugsmachine has let the OCO faithful down, Bradley Westfield steps up and plays QB. Can miracles happen in the NSFL?

Kudos to the Cats for somehow pulling away wins over the Wraith and Liberty while the Outlaws went 0-3 in essentially the only scenario where the Cats make the playoffs.

Also, gone are the days when a player with 1 throwing stats can play QB well like Dermot did.
