*Coyotes Stadium Upgrades Cause Delays - dropbear - 02-20-2018
In the leadup to what looks to be a turnaround year for Kansas City, the Coyotes owner has dipped into his pockets and spent the offseason splurging on stadium upgrades in an effort to improve the experience in the bleachers to match the improved performance on the field.
But it seems the upgrades are causing more problems than they're solving. The first upgrade -- revolving doors at stadium entry points -- has proved difficult for fans to adjust to.

Home and away fans alike have also been provided with complimentary portable bleacher cushions to make the viewing experience more comfortable. However, the extended setup time of these perhaps unnecessary luxuries has caused extensive queueing.

Another thoughtful but misguided inclusion was self-service beer dispensers. Not only have fans proven to be woefully underqualified for pouring their own beers, several fans have had to be pried off of the taps.

With delays to the Coyotes home opener now predicted to extend until almost an hour after the intended kickoff time, fans, players, and coaches alike are getting increasingly frustrated.

Only time will tell if the performance on the field can make up for a lacklustre effort from stadium staff in Kansas City.
