*Mark Grau - A Rookie WR Perspective - keanex - 02-23-2018 It's been 5 games total since I've been in the DSFL and I've put a lot of effort into becoming the best that I can be. I've trained as much as I can, studied routes, had great trainers, it's been a long road and truth be told it hasn't been easy - despite having the excellent support staff of the Portland Pythons. It's been 2 pre-season games where I felt that I showed promise despite some drops. Now we're 3 games into the regular season and I feel that I'm letting my team down. I don't know how many drops that I've had, but it makes me feel that the hard work isn't cutting it. I need to focus, I need to practice more, I need to get better. As I write this, we are 3-0, the Portland Pythons are. Gore has been an absolute monster and I feel we could make it to the championship this year. I need to step it up and stop dropping passes. I look forward to the upcoming weeks though, I feel that I'm going to break out and become the star wide receiver, I just need to capitalize on the opportunities. Anyway, thanks and congratulations to Portland for a fantastic start. 4-0 pre-season and 3-0 in the regular season. We're going to make things happen. You'll only get better as the season goes on! *Mark Grau - A Rookie WR Perspective - PDXBaller - 02-23-2018 You have the makings of a great WR...give us some time to flip that switch and we'll be throwing more once you and McCoy get up to a good level. *Mark Grau - A Rookie WR Perspective - Roly - 02-23-2018 Gonna be great man, don't worry about the drops - all new receivers go through it. I'm sure the Cowboy will be hitting you on open routes soon. *Mark Grau - A Rookie WR Perspective - keanex - 02-27-2018 Appreciate the support from you guys! |
