Hi. I'm releasing this statement because I played like shit. Plain and simple.
It is completely unacceptable to go 3/7 and 3/15 in two consecutive games for me. I've set high expectations for myself coming into this season and they're not going to change right now.
With that being said, I will bust my butt off to get better in the next week. Because I know my teammates deserve better, my fans deserve better, and everyone watching the DSFL deserves better.
I got drafted #4 for a reason, and I'm going to make sure I prove the world why I deserved to be picked there. Because I truly think I am a high pick.
It's not OK to go 6/22 in two games. At all. It's just plain awful. Nothing more to it.
I'm going to get myself in the film room and I'm going to try to replicate the success we had as a team in the first three weeks personally.
The Marshals have given me everything, now it's my time to give back to them. I'm going to play better. I'm going to get better.
With that being said, I would like Mike Vick @MVick to start ahead of me in the next two games. He's truly earned it, and he's playing great football for our team. He deserves it.
All of this will make me work harder. I'm going to do that extra set. I'm going to run the extra lap.
From now on, it's not about showing off, it's not about running up the stat sheet with passing yards and touchdowns. That's bullshit.
It's about doing my job and helping my team the best I can to put them in a position to win. Because I didn't do that in week 5. And I apologize.
Go Marshals.

Quarterbacks stick up for each other! I'm sure you'll do better next time, the sim can be a royal pain up the ass sometimes. I'm also sure I've been fairly lucky this year too (outside of week 1).
