Deadline Saturday, March 17th, 11:59 PM PST (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - Oles - 03-12-2018 Written: Must include 200 words. There are some crazy conspiracies out there, whether they're NSFL related, political based, or just downright insane. What crazy theory do you believe in, do you believe the CIA took out JFK? Just say what you believe and why. There’s not many things out of this realm that Oles will believe. Oles isn’t a skeptical person, taking everything for what is seems because there isn’t a reason for the other side to actually have it happen like some theories say. However, there is something Oles believes that most people would find a bit suspicious at best. He believes that in a rival sport, the commissioner flipped the switch on the power in a stadium which allowed the team getting their ass kicked to comeback. While that team may not have won, this made that championship much closer than It would have been and caused unnecessary pain to certain fans because a commissioner was more worried about market value over fairness. Looking at players like they’re a product, not people, has always been frustrating to Oles, people should be protecting in case something happens, and when this situation happened in the other league the players were not valued or protected. This was an unnecessary action in a fair game that turned a fair game into one that could have been botched if there were a little bit more time in the game. This conspiracy has turned Oles off from that league, as it disrespects players and that is not cool. (210 words) (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - bovovovo - 03-12-2018 "THE EARTH IS FLAT. I'm tellin you, man. Think about it. You ever seen the curve? I be on planes all the time, ever week I fly on planes. And I tell you what, I have NEVER seen the curve. If the Earth was round then balls would roll on the ground. But they don't. They just sit there. How does it even make sense for the Earth to be round? And here's the thing. There is no real picture of the Earth. I'm not trying to bash science or anything, I have a friend who is a scientist. But when I actually started doing my own research and I realized that there actually isn't any picture of the Earth that shows it's round, it became obvious. I seen these videos, man. Not documentaries. Like on Instagram. These Instagram videos that really make you think. It's not a conspiracy, it's just how it is. Just because I think differently, does that diminish my intellectual capability? No. No it does not. I just do my own research and I think for myself. I don't believe what the system tells me, you can't fall under group think. Do some research and find out what YOU believe in. LIFE." -Borkus Maximus III (209 words) (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - Raven - 03-12-2018 Let's be real with each other, we all know the real reason VR headsets and the like were made. The answer simply being 'anime girls'. Ofcourse a huge part of the polulation is all like, oh no it's for other stuff like, gaming or building 3d spaces and seeing how something would look like irl without having to build an actual thing. Fuckin bullshit, we all know this shit is funded by the gouverment so we can all hang out in a virtual world with 3d anime babes. This idea started all the way back with Abraham Lincoln. Everyone remembers his quote 'Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal'. If you read between the lines you can clearly see this was a cry to make anime girls real. The best US president to have ever lived in Obama really made sure we would have breakthroughts on the waifu department. He was even busy making a bill which would allow us to legally marry our waifus. The gouverment is full of weeaboo fucks who want nothing more than for all it's citizans to be together with their true love. and I cant goddamn wait for the day it finally happens and I can prove all you doubters wrong. (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - Beaver - 03-12-2018 After Blackford Oakes demolished Connor Tanner at Golf with Friends which should have ended the feud forever Tanner reneged on the agreement and tried to steal the ring that prevents his ~SUPER SUGGESTION POWER~ from working on Oakes while he was celebrating which is a dick move yes but since then Oakes has been thinking real hard about this whole arrangement and he thinks he's now made a breakthrough with the realization that Tanner is actually a Head Office plant because ever since he ~TOTALLY FORCED ACTIVE AND CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF THE LEAGUE TO RETIRE AGAINST THEIR WILL~ HO has seized more and more power under the guise of keeping the league together and this has all worked out very conveniently for one person in particular - DERMOT - as he now has essentially unlimited power to do whatever he wants with the league and he's started to wield that power recently as evidenced by 3 of his multis that he's not even trying to conceal creating players and getting approved before no doubt forcing their way to play for the Yellowknife Wraiths which is a total abuse of power and something that we should not stand for, suddenly Blackford Oakes has a new mission. Code: 203 words (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - TheMemeMaestro - 03-12-2018 There is a conspiracy in the NSFL. It involves all of the teams. It also involves all of the players. They are all simply against good journalism. I am, of course, talking about the only real journalist in the NSFL. Ship Frayless has burst onto the scene as the best journalist in the world, breaking all the real facts and rumors. Despite his completely flawless 100% perfect all the time analysis, teams seem to have something out for Ship. He has been attacked on numerous occasions by the San Jose Sabercats. He has also been attacked by player Johnathan Saint. These examples show a glaring fault in the system. These players know that Frayless is right. They just are afraid that everyone else will learn the truth about them. Look at this objectively true post. "Mike Boss = System player that will not last much longer. In the grand scheme of things, the most underrated player in the NSFL, Steven O'Sullivan, will be revered as THE premier player in the Otters dynasty! 2 rings after his arrival, with a 3rd on the way. 0 before, Just saying" However, the players and teams seem to disagree. Steven O'Sullivan is the greatest no doubt. But due to the conspiracy, everyone plays Frayless for a fool. (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - majesiu - 03-12-2018 ![]() (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - Vikain - 03-12-2018 If there is anything I believe is that of the conspiracy of Florida Man. Everyone has heard of him. He is the one that does all the crazy stuff down in Florida. For instance Florida man fights Ex-girlfriends husband in while she is delivering a baby. Or Florida Man fights a flamingo after it called his mom ugly. Now some uncultured people like to believe it is multiple people in Florida doing these strange occurances. But NO! I know better it's one guy and he is in cahoots with the Government. Why? No one really knows. Some have ideas that it is so some people of color would not come and move to Florida, others have a theory that he is an alien that just can't quite grasp the ability to be human. Other theories include a man who was experimented on by the CIA with LSD so he doesn't see what a normal person sees. What do I believe in? EVERYTHING! This Florida Man is an Alien who was experimented on by the CIA and then released into the General public to create a limitation for Florida. He is essentially a loose cannon that does anything the US Government wants. BE CAREFUL OF FLORIDA MAN! (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - Titan127 - 03-12-2018 I think one of the less spoken of, and yet most intriguing, theories out there is that Abraham Lincoln's killer, John Wilkes Booth, was never apprehended by authorities. As I am sure that you are all very well aware, John Wilkes Booth assassinated Abraham Lincoln by coming in to the theater, putting a gun to the back of the president's head, and blowing his brains out. The ensuing chase soon took the national stage as Booth fled south, hoping to find those that would support and hide him after his murdering of one of America's greatest presidents. But, despite Booth being killed when a barn burned down upon him, it is whispered that he did, in fact, manage to escape. Preposterous, right? Well, if you look into it, it could make more sense than it appears to on the surface. For one, the body that was assumed to be Booth's was burned alive, and hardly recognizable. DNA evidence was not available back then, so they simply assumed they had brought down this heinous criminal. In hindsight, now that we do have that DNA testing available, it has come to the surface that the spinal records of the man killed in that barn do not match those of Booth. So, did he, in fact, manage to escape? The world may never know. (S6) - PT5 - Sherlock - caltroit_red_flames - 03-13-2018 Have you ever heard of the theory that we're all living in a computer simulation? Basically, the idea is that with how people are, eventually someone is going to decide that ethics don't matter or something like that. We've seen it with all kinds of things. Cloning, stem cells, psychology. Shoot, if you're a fan of Black Mirror then you know that entire last episode of Season 3 is a bunch of breaches of ethics. So the idea is that, at some point in the future, someone is going to want to put sentient life on a computer. Real peoples minds, but in a simulation. We could simulate so many things, so quickly that would allow us to look into the past and future, and it'd be so fast and cheap that companies would love to use that software without even thinking of the ethical implications of creating sentient life on a computer. Now. Here's the real kicker. How likely do you think it is, assuming that simulations will be created in the future that we're the first ones who discovered this. It's pretty unlikely that we're the first in the grand scheme of things. So that means we're the simulation, not the simulators. Another way to think of it is like the Rick and Morty episode with the car battery that is actually a Tinyverse or Miniverse. We always think of ourselves as the original creators of the universe as a car battery (or in our case, the simulation), but the theory is that instead of being Rick in this situation, we're the dumb green aliens that make energy for Rick's car. |
