*The DSFL MVP curse is real - Supersquare04 - 03-15-2018 So before me there was John Wachter who won the DSFL mvp, coming off an incredible, record setting season. Before him there was Shawn Ariel, I don't know much about him but apparently he was the DSFL MVP then. Both of them went inactive, and when I won the MVP I was hoping to break the curse, but unfortunately I just don't want to keep losing again and again. Being on the Yeti sucks, and I'm just going to direct my attentions to another league for the time being. Maybe I'll come back, I don't know. But I just have too much on my plate for this league where no matter what I do we keep losing. I don't need any pay for this. *The DSFL MVP curse is real - DeathOnReddit - 03-15-2018 RIP. *The DSFL MVP curse is real - Oles - 03-15-2018 (03-15-2018, 02:15 PM)Supersquare04 Wrote:So before me there was John Wachter who won the DSFL mvp, coming off an incredible, record setting season. The SeaWolves were lucky to pick him up, he quickly ran over everyone and became the most talked about prospect. What people didn't know (that I did, since I was his gm) is that he wasn't that active. He gained 2 TPE in his time with the SeaWolves, his player was just a monster for some reason. He also had personal issues arise after that season that caused him to have to leave, he was much like pre-gm asipi. Talks a lot, makes his presence known on media/discord, but didn't really update much. I get the frustration that comes with being on a losing team that seems to have no upside right now, but it is getting better. Most older teams are going to regress soon, Yeti just need a good free agent pool/draft class and the miserable team they once were turns into a top team in a season or 2. I'd hate to see you leave because of how painful it is, but if you stick it out now you should see good times ahead. *The DSFL MVP curse is real - PDXBaller - 03-15-2018 I'm really sad to hear that but I understand it's frustrating to be on a losing team...especially one that might have a winless season for the first time in league history. I know you loved being on the Pythons and it's difficult to capture that experience on a new team, but the Yeti organization are headed in the right direction in the long run. *The DSFL MVP curse is real - caltroit_red_flames - 03-15-2018 Fair enough that you're busy, but if you're just a player this league takes no effort lol *The DSFL MVP curse is real - bovovovo - 03-15-2018 ![]() This makes me sad. Good luck in the future, hope you find a place where you can get back to having fun *The DSFL MVP curse is real - SwagSloth - 03-15-2018 I know it's frustrating and I get that, man. I'd tell you to stick with it and look at the long-term, but even if FA is the goal, I do understand not wanting to keep investing yourself for the next 4 months. I would encourage you to talk to your GMs are trading you if it's gotten to this point. The Yeti have said before that they'd rather trade a player than have them be unhappy. I'm sure a lot of teams would love to have you. If that's not option for whatever reason, I would at least do low-effort tasks like ACs, Predictions, & Trainings (using contract $$$). It only involves logging into the site for about 5-10 minutes a few times a week and that TPE can make you a contender for a better team when FA comes up. *The DSFL MVP curse is real - HENDRIX - 03-15-2018 Don't leave! ![]() *The DSFL MVP curse is real - ItsJustBarry - 03-15-2018 From one wide receiver to another... ![]() *The DSFL MVP curse is real - Supersquare04 - 03-15-2018 (03-15-2018, 07:52 PM)ItsJustBarry Wrote:From one wide receiver to another... http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=7958 |
