*Mason Brown Radio show and Note for Otters - Toasty - 04-03-2018 SP: Welcome to Palmer Sports on 1035 and today we are joined by the newest member of the Orange County Otters, Mason Brown. Today we will talk the draft with Mason and he has something to say. So, Mason what do you think about where you were taken? MB: Well thanks for having me Skip, All I have to say is that the Otters were more than generous by taking me at 8th overall and can not wait to get playing some football for them. There is one thing I got to say is did you see how far Niraj Garrett fell I was sure he would’ve gone in the 2nd round. SP: Yeah, it was weird how far he fell. So what do you think about where your friend and teammate Mark Grau went and the guy who fed him the ball most of the season in Cowboy Cole McCoy. MB: First off I would like to congratulate Mark on going 4th overall, even though he is not the happiest right now, and Cole for going 11th. I think that it shows who puts in the most work in the off seasons on the Pythons and I cannot wait to play with Mark for what could be our last season together. Cole was one of the best choices at quarterback in this draft and I hope he can light up the league. I really am looking forward to seeing how he performs when he doesn’t need to split the snaps with another quarterback. SP: Is there anyone that was drafted tonight by the Otters that you are looking forward to playing with? Is there anyone who you don’t really want to play with? MB: First off I am glad for everyone who got picked by the Otters and I can not wait to get to know everyone. As for the person I look forward to playing with Cole some more, he has always lit up the field and is an amazing player and person. SP: That he has and that is a veteran answer to that question from a rookie guys. Now onto the question everyone is asking why do you dislike Yeti General Manager MemeMastero? MB: First off, I don’t dislike him I just disapprove of his gming skill. He also contacted me about a day after I released that statement and I learnt I need to do research before I call out a GM it is amazing what he has done, but I can not see myself playing for him. It has nothing to do with Yeti going winless and taking the easy way out playing for a struggling team. SP: So all of the listeners are blowing up the phone right now with one question, can you control yourself at bars and clubs now after your time at Boise State and the two fights you got in? MB :I have gotten under control. My daughter Christine has really helped me calm down and be more laid back. But if anyone hurts my two girls, Christine or my beautiful wife Jade, there will be *Bleep* to be payed SP: Well okay, we will hear what Mason has to say right after this break. SP: Okay welcome back to Palmer sports on 1035 and we are joined by Mason Brown. Thanks again for coming in right after the draft, so what did you want to tell everyone? MB: Well first off I would like to thank the team that drafted me and give some insight on me . So without any further a due I would like to thanks the whole Otters organization for drafting me so high and knowing at the time that I desired to return to the DSFL for another season. I would like to thank my new GM Molarpistols and Co GM Westy for knowing what a great asset I will be to the team in the locker room and on the field. I would like to thank all of the teams that were interested in me, the Orange County Otters, the Hawks, the Yellowknife Wraiths, and the Philadelphia Liberty. Even thouh I will not be on the field for the Otters, I will still make an impact in the Locker Room and in Media posts. I will be doing rundowns for the Pythons after every game with a new radio host, the one and only Skip Palmer. Then at the end of the season the plan is to do a season run-down on the Otters and Pythons with Skip. I have has signed a 3 year deal with Skip to do the recaps and break any news and just talk football with him. I will also be doing a recap on the Pythons’ draft this year. I plan on doing big things for the Otters and hope they keep me at WLB and keep me on the team. SP: Well okay, is when would you like to recap the Pythons draft, now or later. MB: I think I will come on tomorrow, I need to look more into the Players that were drafted and want to get a feel for them inside the Pythons Locker Room. So see you tomorrow. SP: That is all for our interview with Mason Brown and up next is Mark Grau's demand for a trade justified? *Mason Brown Radio show and Note for Otters - Toasty - 04-03-2018 I will not be doing something on Mark's trade demand just part of the show *Mason Brown Radio show and Note for Otters - TrueTexican - 04-03-2018 Thanks for the kind words partner! |
