Levon Novel Makes case to be a High Draft Choice - andybj - 06-01-2017 Why you should draft Levon Novel: First lets go with the random reasons why. First his name is awesome and if you didn’t pick up on it I digress with the future of reading around the world. Secondly I don’t really know, I just like that reason and am sad no one seemed to pointed it out. Now to the real reasons why. First we have his physical abilities. Agility and Speed These for a running back I believe go together You need to be agile to make moves but you need to be fast to be able to do something with the open space you created. For his agility, Levon is sitting at a respectable 61. Not the most agile of some of the players but he will be able to shake and a bake a bit. Now on to the speed he will have a speed of a 67. That means he will definitely have a leg up on some of the competition. When comparing to some of the other players in the draft there are speedy corners but He is also hoping to be able to bus them over and be able to break tackles. Strength Levon has definitely been hitting the gym as he has 61 strength. Clearly not as strong as some of the linemen or some of the defensive players but he believes having a good mix of strength and agility/speed will make him so dominant. He is hoping for the guys that he can’t break their tackle he can run by/around and the guys that he can’t run around he will be able to plow them over and gain yardage after contact. Intelligence/ Hands These last two stats are being grouped together because they would be considered secondary. However for Levon nothing is secondary. He wants to be an all situations running back and you need to be able to both have intelligence and good hands. For intelligence, when the hole closes and you have to bust a move and take it outside you have to be smart and understand the game to do that. For hands if coach calls a passing play and you are in the middle of the field its imperative you are able to catch the ball. Also having strong hands means that you don’t turn over the ball which would be a detriment to the team. Because of these you can say that Levon is a team player. Team Player Levon as a team player is very important. As a running back if you are in for a passing play, you may not always go out to receive. That is why as an RB Levon will work hard on pass blocking. He wants to show GM’s how its done both as a receiver and a blocker. Also for plays to the fullback, Levon wants to help his team on things like a Full back toss.
