Alright - so a couple things. HO has been hard at work making up a Hall of Fame process and we have one now. Here are the Hall of Fame Rules

1 - HOF Committee is made up of HO, League Ownership/ commissioners, and one team representative (this will be by default the Head GM. If they do not wish to vote they can designate their co-GM or another team representative).

2 - There is no nomination process. Every player will be voted on.

3 - Out of the 15 votes a player must get 10 votes. If the committee size changes the number to get in will be 2/3 of the vote.

4 - You must get 5 votes out of 15 to stay on the ballot. Again if the committee size changes - the number to get in will be 1/3 of the vote.

5 - A voter can vote for as many players as he/she wants to

6 - A player is first eligible for the Hall of Fame after a full season has passed without the player playing.

7 - A player must play at least 5 seasons to be eligible to be voted on.

So that is the Hall of Fame process. As far as Head Office Applications - we received an incredible amount of applications and they were very high quality. We are happy to announce that we are hiring two to the Head Office (including one as DSFL commish) and one member as a deputy commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner will not be in the Head Office, but his duties will consist of helping to manage the day to day operation of the site. Without further ado congratulations to ...

Deputy Commissioner - @ExemplaryChad
Head Office Member - @`To12143`
Head Office Member/ DSFL Commish - @AzhekAhriman

:towel: :towel:   :yay: :yay:

Both Oles and Ahriman will finish out the season as GMs of their respective teams and will be joining the head office starting in the offseason.

"6 - A player is first eligible for the Hall of Fame after a full season has passed without the player playing."

Maybe instead it should be done as a class as opposed to one off voting?

Awesome choice for next DSFL commish with @AzhekAhriman. Real excited to what you can continue to bring for that league and rookies coming onto the site.

Well, the first "class" will be everyone eligible from the first chunk of seasons. The remaining will be done as a class.

It is. The voting is done in the offseason. Sorry that wasn't clear.

Also forgot - it's edited in. Players have to play at least 5 seasons to be eligible

I actually think this is too low. Assuming everyone is level headed here, I think we should bump it up to 80% or 12/15. Make the HoF more exclusive and only for the best players.

Another suggestion would be only allowing the top 3 be voted in, assuming those 3 meet the 66% (80%) criteria. Revotes would be necessary for tie breakers if 4 people get 12 votes or something like that.

I like the SBA system. There are different levels. 5 different tiers depending on how good the player was.

I do not like this method. It’s the hall of fame, there aren’t tiers to it. It’s the best of the best in their era
