I know it's early, but like I've said before I love me some fantasy football. Is there any interest in a fantasy football league or two? I'm willing to organize it. If you are interested, fill out this survey and I'll post back in a few days to update on interest levels.

Btw, although I prefer free leagues, I had the idea to incorporate NSFL money. We each wager 500k or so, winner of the league wins the pot. Provided HO approval of course.

I'm just going to bump this again in case anyone else is interested that hasn't already filled out the form. Hopefully I can get back to this by early next week.
Also, I don't know if anyone ran a league last year but if so, I didn't mean to step on any toes so if you want to help me run this one, be my guest!

As of right now we have 9 people signed up, so I think we would need at least 3 more to make it fun.
Here are some of the results from the survey so far (remember, people are allowed to vote for more than one option):
-7 out of 9 voted for ESPN hosting, although 4 voted for Yahoo as well
-we are split on whether to do PPR or standard scoring
-lots of support for an IR designation that doesn't count against a roster spot
-we are evenly split on how to handle waivers: priority waiver system that resets each week in reverse order of standings vs. Free agent acquisition budget
- pretty sure we are doing a snake draft
-almost all are in favor of drafting online on the host site's platform, but there were 3 votes for drafting among ourselves on discord as well
-seems like the later, the better as far as a draft time, so we have at least a month before we are going to draft.
-almost all are in favor of wagering 1M NSFL dollars. 1st place will get 8 or 9M, 2nd place would get 3 or 4M.
-as far as league size, we'll either stick with a 10 or 12 team league, but answers were pretty varied.
-very mixed responses regarding keeper/dynasty or re-draft league. We'll have to sort that out later, but definitely before we draft.
-as far as a theme recommendation, the most engaging suggestion was to kill Dermot

Can't fill out the form at work, but I am interested and love the idea of NSFL money. It is legal, just need to tag everyone in the bets thread and have them accept. I would include a provision that users need to accept the wager up front before building their team, otherwise people might start drafting, not like their team, and quietly drop out.

Glad you bumped this up. I didn't see it back in May and I'm sure it slipped by others as well.
Count me in if you need someone to fill an odd slot / even the numbers. I also love the NSFL $$$ suggestion.

Yeah, I'm considering asking the bankers to take 1M out of the account for each user and hold it in a particular place until the end of the season. That way we can be sure that everyone has the money and the money gets distributed when its supposed to.

@kckolbe @SwagSloth did either of you fill out the form yet? I just received a 12th response and am not sure if it was either of you. If not, then we can probably do a 14 team league, I doubt most would mind and I don't personally think that is too many.

I did not. I can fill one out, but I'll make sure it has my name on it somewhere.

Ok we are at 16 people signed up at this point so I'm going to close the survey. If you are still interested, leave a comment on here and if we have enough interest (4 or 8 more teams) we can go with two smaller leagues. Or if everyone is ok with it, we can go with one much bigger league. Either way, the first 16 people will have priority.
