*taking a look at s9 rbs - OwlStrike13 - 05-24-2018 I'm going to try to write this like a podcast, really casual. So there are 4 rbs in this class - Marquise Brown, Elijah Lagerfield, Ricky Adams, and myself, LaMarcus Strike. Adams and I are both recreates, and it sounds like maybe lagerfield is in a few other leagues? As a gm, you want to see a sim vet because you know a) you can contact them if they disappear and b) they are more likely to be active. So right off the bat Lagerfield and Adams will have a slight advantage. Technically I'm also in other leagues but it's not like I've done anything significant in them. Logan from KC LR says Adams is HO in another league, so after our first stage of evaluation we have this: 1. Adams 2. Lagerfield 3. Strike 4. Brown Obviously this isn't a fair ranking, as people who just joined the site can't help that they aren't in any other leagues. So if we take a quick look at profiles we see this: Adams: no player intro article, other article, update page Lagerfield: player intro article, some sigs, update page (no actual updates though)* Strike: no player intro article, other article (you're reading it), update page Brown: player intro, other article (and a presser), update page *this would be more worrying if he weren't in some other leagues So our stage 2 rankings: 1. Brown 2. Lagerfield T-3. Strike T-3. Adams Our total rankings so far: T-1. Brown (6 pts) T-1. Lagerfield (6 pts) 3. Adams (7 pts) 4. Strike (9 pts) Yikes. I'm in last place, which i guess makes sense because I haven't done anything significant yet. Now let's take into account build, which I understand NSFL GMs don't care much about, but build is a lot more important in the DSFL. Looking at my build, it looks good, not going to lie. I have 78 speed, which is actually very solid. And with the rest of the TPE, I raised hands by a significant amount. Now, I can play WR, TE, and RB which makes me infinitely more useful than just a RB. Not to sound stuck up, but my build is good and a little hard to beat. [/brag] Now let's look at Lagerfield. He has 77 speed, and at a glance it looks like he spent the rest of the TPE in agility because he has 70 there. Speed is useful, and 70 agility is also nice. Good build, but not great. Next is Brown. I said it was hard to beat my build, and Brown nearly does it. It looks like he put all of the TPE into speed and spared a little bit for agility, which is good. However, the strength at 40 is not good (it's less of a problem for me since i'll play WR some). It's easily fixed, but in terms of starting off, that's a clear area for improvement. Lastly we have Adams. He chose the unfortunate power back build, but he did put some TPE into speed which is good, and 70 speed is "good enough" and fixed with steady updating. Stage 3 rankings: 1. Strike 2. Brown 3. Lagerfield 4. Adams Final rankings: T-1. Brown (12 pts) T-1. Strike (12 pts) 3. Lagerfield (15 pts) 4. Adams (19 pts) Also it is just now that I realize my rating system was bad. Hope you enjoyed! *taking a look at s9 rbs - 124715 - 05-24-2018 S8 DSFL Draft is truly going to shake up the entire DSFL. *taking a look at s9 rbs - TheDangaZone - 05-24-2018 Eh I'd rate me low not based off anything you put but because I've left here before. While I have a good standing in SHL it doesn't always translate from league to league for everyone. Good rankings though. I should definitely be last. *taking a look at s9 rbs - Supersquare04 - 05-24-2018 (05-24-2018, 09:14 PM)TheDangaZone Wrote:Eh I'd rate me low not based off anything you put but because I've left here before.
