So, I don't know if this is the right forum for this and I'm super new, but to me, S8 started yesterday too early.
1. Training camps opened Friday. Updates were processed Saturday May 26. If you missed the ~24-hour window there, all your S8 TPE for training camps, equipment, etc. wasn't updated in time for Wednesday's start.
As a result, I'm sitting on 35 TPE that weren't processed before S8 week 1.
2. The Point Task for predictions went up less than 12 hours before the games started.

Overall it was a great decision to shorten it, but predictions and TC could've been handled better and I have no doubt they'll take care of it in S9.
Good idea to point it though so it won't be missed next season.

Cool, glad we are open to updates for next time. Not meaning to come across as bitter, but to a newcomer the speed of the off-season isn't the problem, the very short windows of opportunity for participating are frustrating. Could be off-putting to other noobs.

Finding the mix has been super tough. 24 days is WAY too long and we had a lot of complaints. This offseason was definitely rushed. Got to find a middle ground - I agree.

You are definitely correct. Most people want a short offseason so trying to minimize offseason time is the right call but the way everything lined up really screwed over a bunch of DSFL players. I don't think this will happen again, even if we keep the same short offseason.

Weekly predictions wasnt a product of the offseason length, we've had struggles with those being posted day of for several seasons.

I wouldn't say for sure this offseason was way too short. I think, had things been forecasted a little smoother, it could work, but being both new as a GM and used to a longer offseason it felt very hectic.

this was the test run for shorter offseasons and it had its hiccups, as expected
we're definitely working hard to smooth things out for future offseasons, even if they aren't quite this short
