*Metaxas Signs with Hunt Agencies - daBenchwarmer - 06-05-2018 [div align=\\\"center\\\"]THE COMMENTATOR Andreas Metaxas Signs with Hunt Agencies [/div] An up and coming, fairly unsized and mobile quarterback with a fairly strong arm and solid intelligence trying to make it to the NSFL? Does that remind anyone of NSFL has-been Ethan Hunt or is it just me? Regardless, Andreas Metaxas, the newest member of the Tijuana Luchadores, has expressed an interest in both the DSFL and NSFL, and has already started making his connections through the infamous Ethan Hunt (who had become a player agent following his retirement). By doing this, Metaxas has completely committed to his plan on eventually becoming an NSFL starting quarterback one day. "He reminds me of me before I had a ton of off-pitch issues and injuries." Hunt commented on Metaxas today. "Andreas is seeing the game in a completely different way, and he's making passes I didn't think I could have made. He's a great talent, and anyone who picks him up in the S9 Draft is going to be super happy with what they're getting." "I think just having Ethan behind me really helps out." Metaxas said during a brief interview today. "He's been through the gauntlet of professional football, and knows some of the in's and out's of the league. Plus he has connections and can advise me on what to do." "I told him try not to test free agency against the top QB names in a very QB saturated market." Hunt joked, referring to his botched free agency attempt in S4 eventually leading to his position change to Wide Receiver. "I want him to learn from my mistakes and follow my successes. It's the least I can do for the kid." "Yeah, Ethan's been pretty good so far." Metaxas said. "Not only has he given me pointers on my quarterback skills, but he's put me in contact with some top QB's training staff like Akelsen's training staff and retired greats like Orosz. I'm just here to take things in and improve my skills in any which way I can." Metaxas is expected to make his DSFL debut tonight. He was claimed off of DSFL Entry Waivers by the Luchadores earlier this week after forgoing his final year at the University of Southern California, where he had played for three years. The 20-year old is one of the only two quarterbacks available in the S9 NSFL Draft, where he is pushing to make a larger impact. "I want this kid to be drafted by an NSFL team." Hunt said. "He has the drive and willingness to become a top QB in this league. Not only does he have the agility and speed to be mobile, but he also has the smarts and a pretty good arm. I think I speak for both of us when I say we're a mix of anxious and excited for the NSFL Draft." "I'd love to comment on what signing with Hunt Agencies means for my NSFL career, but I'm not." Metaxas said. "My top priority is to show the TJ Luchadores' management that I can be their number 1 guy, and to show the fans here that we're going in this year for the championship. The DSFL has a championship right? I'm not going crazy am I?"
