*Eric Kennedy Retirement Announcement - SwagSloth - 06-29-2018
First off, I have an announcement to make.
WR Eric Kennedy will be retiring… in S10.
My current contract is set to expire at the end of that season and I’m determined to carry out my commitment to the team. With the Wraiths recently winning their first championship, I’ve achieved the personal goal that I set for this player and, with Kennedy entering regression at the end of this season, I am focusing on the next step. 9 seasons is a good run and I feel that S10 will allow him to make a graceful exit while he’s still at a high TPE level.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with YKW and they’ve always treated me well. Bzerkap and the rest of my teammates in S2/S3 were the ones that helped me figure out what I was doing and I’ve really enjoyed my time on the site as a result of that. I’ve done everything I can to pay back that loyalty and I’m glad that these guys can finally call themselves champions. I know they deserve it. I had to unexpectedly take a step back early this season due to re-focusing on some key IRL priorities, but things are going well and I’ve managed to keep my activity up as player. I knew this team was in good hands when I stepped down and I’m proud of the locker room members that have stepped up in my absence.
I don’t know what position my next player will be yet. I have a whole season to make that decision. I welcome any feedback if there’s a role you guys would like to see me take on. I expect to continue to be a top-level earner with my next player as well. However, this next player will be a fresh start. YKW is welcome to draft me again, but I plan to work hard for whatever team picks me. Being a co-GM gave me the chance to get to know a lot of the league’s GMs better and I could see myself playing for anyone of them.
For now, I’m going to continue to be a top WR over these next 2 seasons and see if I can help bring home another championship or two to YKW. I also look forward to participating in the DSFL next season and the possible fresh start that S11 will bring once my new player enters the NSFL.

Not the end yet, but it's coming up. Definitely hoping to put up 2 more big seasons before it's all said and done.
