*Ricky Flores Post Preseason Week 1 Game Presser - RicoTheRB - 07-11-2018 Ricky Flores had a great game on the ground with the 15 carries for 83 yards. Flores was averaging 5.5 yards per carry and I had the chance to talk with him after the game. Flores said quoted " I thank the GM and the coaches for giving me the opportunity to be apart of this team." He also said quoted " My teammates helped me get open looks in the backfield and they did a great job with blocking and opening up the field so I can run and get those yards. Then Flores finally Said quoted " Football is a team sport, we all have a job to do and we did our job to get this win today. How do you feel like you stack up against the other RBs in your draft class after seeing the preseason completed? A. I feel that I'm a pretty good RB when comparing to the RBs. I know I still have a lot to improve on still so I'm still getting better and better day by day. Q.Where do you see yourself fitting into this Tijuana team? A. I see myself as a key piece for the offence. I want this team to win so if that means I have to run or catch the ball to help this team win I will do that. Q.What are your expectations for the first few weeks of the regular season? A. I expect that we will start off great and ready to win.
