(S9) - Weekend PT 2 - Job Posting - Oles - 07-20-2018

Kazimir Oles has a few options if the league disappeared tomorrow. He could help his brother with his food truck, he could try to go to a different sports league, maybe even hopping over to play baseball. Or he could pursue a career in Business, as he has a degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland. Kazimir Oles made sure to get a degree considering the sports career seeming to be a pipe dream before he joined the NSFL, taking the time to make sure he had a viable future and not just stuck working low paying jobs that are horrible to people. Kazimir Oles could start his own business, or work for someone else, it shouldn’t be hard for him to find some sort of job if the league folded tomorrow. Whether it’s business, baseball, or some other career that might be in line for Kazimir Oles if the league were to end. (156 words)

If the league were to fold out from under itself Mason Brown would be very lost because it has became a big part of his life. But he would end up getting a new job because he doesnt got much money because he is playing for very little to help the Orange County Otters keep their star receiver, Carlito Crush. So he would probably take up a Carter in baseball or even Hockey. He playa Closing Pitcher for baseball and Center for Hockey. He could also get a job at Microsoft, because when he was in college pursing his computer engineering, programing, and design degrees he has Microsoft's CEO walk up to him and tell him if he wanted a job at Microsoft he could get one and guaranteed him that in 5 years he would have the head programming position. So I think the Linebacker should get out his programming books if this were to happen and get back up to speed because hell need to.

If the NSFL folded tomorrow, ShaDarrien LaMelllana wouldn't be affected too much. This is because he owns approximately 200 bitcoin. In fact, his investing skills have made it so that his income from the NSFL is a miniscule part of his income. Not to mention his involement as a drugpin in Tijuana, a job he picked up during an away game against the Luchadores. Many have suspected he was involved in the jailbreak of El Chapo, or famous French druglord El Chapeaux. The point is, the man is involved in some pretty illegal shit. But since he's a pro football player, he's above the law. That's the main reason he is in the NSFL, or DSFL at the moment. However, he would be affected in the sense that he would no longer be above the law and would have to find new ways to evade the law, perhaps joining a new professional sport.

If the NSFL folded today, it's safe to say that Marquise Brown would have a hard time finding a new job. For one, he isn't very smart. With a Wonderlic score of 3, it's safe to say that Brown isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. However, Brown would have an easy time working at a burger joint, or a McDonald's. Lucky for him, flipping burgers doesn't require much intellect, something that Brown unfortunately lacks. Maybe he could move on to becoming a cashier, however, counting money would probably be a major challenge for him. So, Brown would probably have to stick to flipping burger patties in the back. With his lack of intelligence, the Touchdown Brown we all know and love in the NSFL would be touching down burgers on a grill at McDonald's if the NSFL folded today. Good thing that isn't in the realm of possibility! Right guys?

If the NSFL disbanded tomorrow, Danny Grithead would be a huge amount of trouble. With his 4 on the Wonderlic, Grithead obviously is edging towards mental incapacity to perform any menial task. As it stands, Grithead also has just about $0 in his bank account after purchasing some really expensive equipment. Now that he's broke on equipment he can't use, Grithead probably would become homeless. Well, he is homeless anyways because he lives in the Coyotes' gym facilities. As far as a job, Grithead would probably join the gym staff at LA Fitness. While you have to pursue years of education on exercise and sports medicine, Grithead probably would work his way up from being the gym janitor to an unauthorized trainer. It would be a tough way to make a living, but Grithead has got to pay his share of the rent since he'll be sleeping on the bench press at LA Fitness every night. The gym owners are pretty cool with Grithead since they see him around so often, so they'd let him stay there.

If the NSFL were to disappear tomorrow and there was nothing put in its place, I would have to find some other way to pay the bills. Fortunately, I haven’t racked up a bunch of bills playing here, so I might have an easier time surviving than I could have. Even so, not accounting for money that I’ve put away, I would still have to make a living eventually, so what kind of living would it be?

Well, I like being in the public sector. I know that playing football isn’t really a service position, but I do my best to make it one by endorsing worthy causes and using my platform to advocate for those who need advocates. I would like to think I would continue on this path if professional football were not an option. I might be something like a community organizer. It would combine my personality, dedication, and commitment to service in a nice little package.

Honestly, my other biggest passion has to be radio. I would love to be on a morning talk show for a career. It was my major in college and it just never panned out as much as I wanted it to because I went the football route.

Talking to thousands and thousands of people about what's going on in the world, having conversations with people that are in the know, and being an anchor (somewhat) in people's lives just sounds so much fun.

I'd love to have people call in and chat because I always find it interesting to hear other people's stances, and sometimes it's fun to go back and forth on silly topics.

I mean, it's also awesome to get all the free swag they get, and to meet all of those famous musicians too. That's gotta be a really cool experience. Plus, I'd talk, listen to music AND get paid? Sign me up.

If the NSFL was suddenly poof gone, I'd probably go back to school to work on my PhD. Since I was hurt for two years of my college career, I was able to finish my Master's Degree before moving to professional football (you can read all about it on my wiki page cough cough). I've made more than enough money from this league that I can go and dedicate myself to learning again, and since I'm a kicker (and kickers aren't divas), I haven't blown away all my money on fancy sports cars and monuments to myself.

Not going to lie, this is probably what I will do when I hang the non-matching cleats up in 35 seasons. I've always had a passion for learning and teaching, and one day I hope to be a professor at a university where I can both teach the next generation of students as well as conduct research that will advance science as we know it.

If the NSFL closed up shop over night, my life would have to become drastically different. All I've ever known is football so for it to just suddenly be taken from me would be a huge life changer.

The first thing I would have to do if the league folded was move back home to Hamilton with my parents. From there, I would have to find myself a job. It's not going to be the same money that I earned playing football, but it would be something. I know a few friends who could hook me up with some side jobs. My friend at Sport Chek could probably get me in. I could be a sales person for the sports equipment. My experience in football could help families pick the right equipment for their kids or themselves. Another reason why I'd love to work there is the discount they give their employees. I could get hook ups for killer new sneakers, some clothing, and accessories. So while it would suck to have my football world come crashing down, my new job at Sport Chek would help heal the wounds.
