[/div]Addressing the media from the Tijuana Luchadores facilities in Mexico, linebacker Tana Keïta let press know today that he would be declaring for the S10 DSFL draft.
"I'm excited for my return to football and I've really enjoyed my time here with Tijuana. I've made friends with in the team and management has been really helpful in helping me work things out. The facilities and staff here are some of the best I've had the privilege to work with. My family have moved in to a house here in Mexico and have started to settle so I'm hoping it will be the Luchadores that call my name on draft night. Obviously we will all be at the Ultimini game cheering for the team this week too!"
A statement was retrieved from Keita's former GM in the EFL;
"When Tana was drafted in the off season before I came on board as GM, he was seen as a player who had potential to become a big time player in the EFL. Unfortunately, to become that player, you need to be a leader of men and lead by example. Keita's biggest downfall was work ethic on the practice field. He would still perform on the field but without practice, there is no growth. I think Tana will thrive in the NSFL. He has the experience and talent to back himself up and I'm excited to see this guy get a fresh start!"

When asked about this statement and his lack of performance in the EFL Tana had this to say;
"Some things are bigger than football. After declaring for the EFL draft I had some family matters come up back home. While working through this I found EFL management to be unwilling to compromise and I feel that is why I went undrafted. I definitely believe I was and am better than linebackers that were taken ahead of me in that draft. In saying that I'm incredibly grateful to the San Antonio Wolfpack for the chance that they gave me and it was unfortunate we could not make things work at that time. After taking some time off from football and remaining home in Cleveland I am definitely in a better place now and have more time to focus on my sport. I think Tijuana has seen that in the time I've been here and there will be no illusions that I am not committed to the team"
