Written: Must include 200 words. As the end of the season nears we see some interesting matchups between players who have been key contributors playing their old team one last time. Write about one of these matchups and how it went, was there a pregame celebration, did the player perform well against their former team, write about anything that happened.
Week 13 is a bittersweet moment for Yellowknife Wraiths Hall of Fame Linebacker Boss Tweed. Tweed returns to his old stomping grounds in Denver to face off against his former home, the Colorado Yeti. Tweed spent the lions share of his career on the Yeti , albeit it at his familiar running back position behind the now incumbent Logan Noble. Tweed shortly switched to linebacker to aid the developing Yellowknife Wraiths defensive front 7. Unfortunately for Tweed and fortunately for Colorado fans, the Yeti went on to finish the game 34-27 in a tightly contested affair. Tweed unfortunately had an overall poor game out there, racking up just 2 tackles and 2 pass deflections, not exactly the send off that Yeti fans hoped to see (although they did want to see it for their sakes.) There was no pregame celebration of any sorts for the Yellowknife faithful because they knew that they had blown it, the staff, the players and all of the fans. However as everybody was exiting the field and heading to the locker rooms, sources have claimed to have spotted former Colorado Yeti RB, Boss Tweed heading into the Yeti LR. No online footage has surfaced of exactly what happened when he entered his old locker room. Just exactly what was said looks like it will remain a secret between the Colorado Yeti franchise and ring of honor member Boss Tweed.
The Week 13 game between the Yellowknife Wraiths and the Colorado Yeti was a big game for several reasons. It would determine who would get the second playoff spot in the NSFC and it was also the last trip that Boss Tweed would make to Colorado. Before joining the Wraiths, Tweed played his first 6 seasons in Colorado with the Yeti and was inducted into the team's Ring of Honor following the trade that sent him to Yellowknife. It was a bittersweet moment as the fans were excited to be able to cheer for Tweed one last time but also had to root against him as they would be fighting against him for a playoff spot. It was an exciting game that ended with the Yeti winning 34-27. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great individual sendoff for Tweed as he had one of his worst games since becoming a linebacker as he recorded just 2 tackles though he also had 2 pass deflections. In a game where the Wraiths surrendered 34 points, a stronger performance from Tweed could have made the difference by giving the Wraiths' defense a little boost. This loss would ultimately end the Wraiths' playoff hopes and prevent Tweed from making one last playoff run. However, he did get a more fitting individual send off the following week in his final NSFL game. Tweed went up against a former teammate, disgraced ex-Yeti quarterback Logan Noble, and would record 9 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception as he was named defensive player of the game in his final career game. Overall, Tweed's last trip to Colorado was an exciting game even though he didn't live up to the hype individually.

Gus T.T. Showbiz had finally made it to the biggest stage of the game of football, the NSFL. After future Hall of Fame and league's best quarterback Mike Boss hung up his cleats, Showbiz was tasked with somehow filling those shoes. After some off-season workouts and chatting with his top wide receiver threats, Showbiz was pretty excited for the season. Tegan Atwell and Carlito Crush were the real deal, and he felt safe with those two as security blankets.
Then the unthinkable happened, Tegan Atwell signed with the Yellowknife Wraiths for a season, and suddenly Gus's targets were a little less safe. Bradley Westfield is the greatest receiver in the NSFL, but age is catching up to him in his final season. Crush is (was) still around, so Showbiz still had a security blanket, but it was much more dangerous going elsewhere with the ball. The other young guys were promising, but none as automatic as Crush and Atwell. The reunion with Atwell was quick, the Wraiths came in the preseason and it was still too soon and was a little awkward. Showbiz hadn't been able to get a great friendship going before she left, so the greeting was little more than cordial. The second meeting was more painful for Showbiz. He got to watch what would've been one of his best targets torch his Otters defense for 86 yards on only 4 receptions, they barely kept her out of the endzone. The next meeting was even worse, in a 30-0 loss, Showbiz threw for 3 interceptions, and Atwell herself earned almost half the receiving yards Gus threw for. Gus yearns to have a top-flight receiver again after his stats took a huge hit once Crush was traded to New Orleans. [div align=center]
