It might come as a surprise to others, but Quenton Bode is something of a nerd. So when it came to his Halloween costume this year, he decided to go with one of his favorites: Harry Potter. It's hard to find robes and a wizard hat that fit a polar bear, so Bode put together his own costume during his free time. It turned out surprisingly well, and Bode was quite pleased with the results. His fiancee, fittingly, dressed up as Ginny Weasley.

On Halloween night, Bode and his fiancee had several invitations to various parties around New Orleans, but they elected not to go anywhere. Instead, they stayed at their home; Bode purchased a nice house in a quaint neighborhood, so the streets were filled with trick-or-treaters. Bode spent the evening sitting on the porch and handing out candy to all the neighborhood kids who came up to his door. Despite having lived in the neighborhood for a while, some of the kids--and even a few of the parents--asked to take pictures with the Second Line star, and Bode happily obliged. Overall, it was a fantastic night, and Bode is already planning his costume for next Halloween.

Ah man Halloween is probably one of my least favorite holidays probably because I really never liked the whole of point of dressing up in costumes. But even know I still love the candy, and this year New Orleans is having a mandatory Halloween party…great. I actually put some thought into my costume this year, and wanted to go as someone that I know a decent amount about. So, I went as my favorite super hero, Green Lantern. The costume was not the best, but looked pretty similar to the suit Ryan Reynolds had in the movie. I was happy with the outcome of the suit and even some of my teammates had some crazy costumes too.


They told me Slothface always goes above and beyond for Halloween, which was hard to believe. But when I saw him walk in looking exactly like a transformer it was a sight to behold, no wonder he won our costume contest. But that night we held a fundraiser and had kind trick or treating around the stadium too, it was a blast. Once all the kids left though that is when the alcohol came out and the fun really began. Maybe Halloween is not so bad after all, I had a great time this year with my teammates.

Although Tyron Brackenridge doesn't really celebrate Halloween too much he expects it to be big this year due to it being the first time he was in the NSFL during Halloween. This year he plans to dress up as one of the least scary things possible which would obviously be Takeda Okura on the field, although some could say that is actually too scary if they are Arizona Copperheads fans. This year is especially spooky due to the fact that the SaberCats are poised to be one of the sneaky scary teams this last portion of the season due to their last few weeks and the stellar play of Brackenridge. Tyron chose this costume due to the ongoing beef between the two S17 safties, which has died down recently due to Okura's lack of activity but still spooky nonetheless. Tyron's favorite part of Halloween would most likely have to be getting to see all the new costumes and the parties that often come around this time of the year but he will make sure not to go too overboard as the season isn't technically over yet but he'll let loose some of the frustrations from this season out. Lastly, one of the spookiest things this season is just how much Scorp sucks

We had a great team halloween party. We decorated the entire stadium as a haunted house. Just kidding, it’s already a haunted house as we have a losing record. We still had a very fun time. Havran was bobbing for apples dressed as Dr. Who. Fatih Terim handed out candy to trick or treaters dressed as a zombie. Jimbo Dorfus spiked the punch dressed as Mark Ingram. Get it? Get it? Ingram is actually a good running back, and plays for Baltimore Ravens. Get it? Sunnycursed dreased as a meat eating sunflower. Earl Maddox was a ghost. Ahri dressed as Freddie Mercury. Spooky goblins, wraiths, robots and vampires all showed up. It was a great time. The entire staff of the Baltimore Hawks organization showed up and enjoyed music and food in the stadium sky lounges. Taco MacArthur came dressed as Woody, and brought Eskimo Brothers DataBase Bed N Breakfast Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwiches. Walt Green showed up dressed as Walter White passing out blue candy. I had some, but i forget what occured rest of the night. It is like I passed out or something. From all of us at Baltimore Hawks, we wish you a Happy Halloween to everyone. Don’t eat too much candy tonight!!

For Halloween Cooter Bigsby decided to dress as Gardner Minshew. Now I know this is probably confusing for some of you like how the hell is a fake football player dressing like an NFL player in a different universe and several decades ahead? Well friends, I don't really know how that works all I know is that it is what I wanna do and I'm going for it. Guys I gotta say I'm kinda sad I didn't know about Minshew when I was choosing Cooter's render because he is perfect for my character. He's got that sweet mustache and all that swagger, the dude just oozes confidence. If Cooter could have the kind of confidence that Minshew does he wouldn't consistently be like the third best QB in the league every season like he is now. Anyways, back to the costume thing. So Cooter goes out to party with his bandana and his mustache and his Minshew jersey and of course he's gotta have some MILFs on his arms to complete the outfit so he goes and secures some of the finest women north of 40 and goes to the Spooky Boys halloween party and everyone loved the costume, said Minshew fit Cooter's personality perfect.

Its hard for someone my size to have a proper costume. Big and tall doesn't sell costumes so the selection of premade costumes that hits the 5-6xl range is almost non existant. I got no time as it is so its never been an option to make something nice myself. I'm a big B movie vhs fan so I tend to just stay in and marathon with my people.

But now I got money and I got obligations (for some reason the #beargang community is shockingly underserved by pro athletes and advertisers are paying me top dollar for my insta) so this year I'm going to get something epic. My first idea was a panzerkamphwagen VIII so I could go around and tell everyone I was a mouse and be hilarious. I was then told that this made no sense and the person who I was contracting with had no idea what a panzerkamphwagen was. A mad max style bus was my next idea but she said that it would be bad because of the things that it would snag on. In the end I went as a Landskenect, Kind of a renascence era German mercenary known for their colorful and patchwork clothing. It was a huge success and was worth every penny as I probably made more that night referring new people to my person then I paid for the thing.
