Mat Akselsen is honing his craft this winter season. He's basically been playing 7 on 7 flag football for a month now. He figures no one is gonna sack him so there's really been no point in working with an offensive line. It seems to be working, Akselsen has speed to burn for days and the agility to match. He's juking and dodging would-be tacklers with ease out on the field. Some say he's a refined, more handsome and simply better version of Michael Vick. Akselsen isn't one to toot his own horn but he won't stop anyone else from doing it either. Particularly when they're correct.

However the holidays are not only for training, but also for giving, and Akselsen will be giving a lot this upcoming season. Here are some of his predictions for the season. Cook will have 90+ catches with 1300+ yards and 9+ TDs, Jarden will have 60+ catches with 900+ yards and 5+ TDs. The little scat back Kennedy will have 80+ catches, 850+ yards, and 6+ TDs. Akselsen will also be gaining over 300 yards on the ground and giving the greatest gift of all, wins for the fans of Yellowknife. It's time to call Akselsen, Mat Claus with all the goodies he's throwing out of his bag. All the other NSFL opponents will just get coal.
