It might come as a surprise to many outside of the Baltimore Hawks organization, but their young QB Avon Blocksdale is going to be in the league MVP conversation this season. This offseason he has hit the gym hard and lost a few pounds, improving his speed and agility. He also worked extensively with an MLB pitching coach to improve his throwing power. Last season he had a little bit of trouble driving the ball down field, that will not be an issue this season. The Hawks front office also went out and greatly improved their pass catching talent. Alexandre LeClair was acquired in a trade from the Legion and John Wachter was drafted in the 1st round. Those two will join current weapons Trey Willie and Owen Taylor to form one of the deepest and most talented set of weapons in the NSFL. Rumor has it the offensive line has improved across the board as well. The Baltimore offensive line coach got the front five to improve their strength, athleticism, and blocking techniques. Everything is in place for Avon Blocksdale to lead the Baltimore offense to greatness, we will see if this is the year it all comes together. (200)
