Now Colorado Yeti quarterback Nicholas Pierno is ready to show the league that the Yeti's front office didn't make a mistake in making the late-round draft pick its quarterback of the future. With his speed and agility both above 80 due to his offseason knee physical therapy, an issue that had been hurting him since an injury during the ACC Championship game during his senior year of college, he's ready to lead the best rushing offense in NSFL history. In the preseason, Pierno ran for 130 yards on 4 yards per carry, a mark alone that would've made him the top rushing QB in the league a year ago for a full regular season. The Yeti's rushing game will be near impossible to stop for opposing defenses as Tweed and Pierno keep the league on its toes. Tweed is lowkey one of the highest TPE players in the league and it’s not out of question to see him break the league record for all-purpose yards as he lines up as a returner on special teams, starting running back and as an occasional wide receivers when Colorado does need to throw the pigskin.
