Everyone loves a good surprise and I think the Liberty will definitely surprise everyone this season. They sure did surprise everyone last season by knocking out the Baltimore Hawks in the NSFC to make the playoffs. First, Clifford Rove has developed into a really unique quarterback that has an archetype no other quarterback has. He’s spent the first few seasons being mediocre, but has now blossomed into a credible passing threat. The Liberty also improved their offense greatly with the addition of Josh Garden and the development of Kroetch into a great speedy runningback. The first regular season game was great indication of things to come. Garden, DiMirio, and North all had 7 receptions and Garden had 102 yards for 3 touchdowns. The defense has improved greatly too with the addition of King to the front line with Kamaka. The pair are a defensive force to be reckoned with and the addition of Big Bot and Jaylon Lee greatly improves the defense as a whole. Almost the entire team is consistent with training as well and the locker room morale is very high going into this season. Given the trades done in the off season, I think the Liberty are primed to become the best team in the NSFL this season.
