A name that was big in the DSFL a couple seasons ago, and was unceremoniously drafted by the struggling Colorado Yeti is the young linebacker, Haruki Ishigawa. His first season in the NSFL was a disappointment when you look at how well he performed as a DSFL Prospect. Posting a mere 4 sacks and 3 PDs and 1 fumble recovery, his stats weren't what they thought they would be when they drafted the kid from West Virginia. But this season has more than made up for that as he has shined brightly for the Yeti so far this season. So far he already has 4 sacks and 10 Passes Deflected. Only Ricardo Sandoval, a Defensive Tackle has more sacks. He leads the team in passes defended, and the season is barely halfway completed. (f you prorate his stats to cover a full season, he is projected to get 20 PDs and 8 sacks, which is incredible. Nobody last season came even close to getting those 2 numbers side by side. Ishigawa could be a complete freak hidden amongst the rough Yeti squad. While it may be true that anyone on the Yeti are over looked, I feel that Haruki is even more over looked and underrated at this point in this 5th season on the NSFL.
